370z Nismo in the USA???

I've been dreaming of a Storm White 370z nismo for about 6 months now, and paranoid they will discontinue production soon due to eco *******, ahem I mean warriors ( damn them!! ) so I've been following all news I can on them.

 

I frequent Carbuzz, mostly when I'm bored, and found this article. In the UK you can't get an auto Nismo, which I'm glad about, cause it's for people who enjoy driving

I just don't see why you'd get the harsher more sporty version and ruin it with an auto. MAYBE if it was a DCT I'd let it go, but come on!
