Hi Guys me a again, after my first month of Z ownership ive got a couple of niggles but nothing majoy im glad to say just wondered if you guys had heard of them before.

1. Rear vibration when the car goes into super noisy mode i think it might be the rear window?

2. Stereo skips and skips for the first mile in the morning something i think is to do with the temprature?

3. Also what tyre pressure do you guys run on 18's?

Hi bud,

Cant help you with the window thing as I dont have one.

Skipping stereo, you have a bose then. Its a very common fault. If you have warranty get it changed.

Tyre pressure should be 35.

Never had a problem with the vibration sorry.

My stereo did skip when cold, had it replaced before the warranty run out - all ok now. I did manage to live with the skipping by playing the radio until the stereo warmed up.

35 psi all round as a general rule of thumb

Vibration is most likely to be the strut brace housing or boot trim. Also check the tool kit. ;)

Stereo is rubbish first thing when the discs have condensation on them - usual in other cars too. Beware the skipping BOSE though.....

Pressures as above.

Rear vibrations on mine have come from the little privacy blind attached to the back window, the strut bar, the tonneau cover (both the fixings to the strut and the fixings to the cover, its a nissan one) wheel lock key under the polywhatsit in the boot and another few things but now all sorted through a process of elimination!!

As above, also check your spare wheel and tool kit. Also a number of the 350's in the US have had a few issues with the hatch vibrating noises. Go and have a look on http://www.my350z.com. I personally wouldn't recommend the penny trick as a few of them have done. Eeeks.

Is it a plasticy sort of stressing or vibrating noise, panels rubbing?
