Andy_Muxlow Posted October 14, 2016 Share Posted October 14, 2016 Hi guys, I have just had a new roof on my Zed again after the new 1 split, under warranty thank god. But when I got it back the rear of the roof when closed, sits about half an inch above the back of the car. The garage says it needs to stretch into place so needs some heat to allow this, I am just wondering if this is the case or am I being fed a load of bull?? Paul K Posted October 14, 2016 Share Posted October 14, 2016 (edited) Hi mate. Yes it takes a few weeks to stretch into place. Probably not the best time of year for a new hood as it's gettin chilly. But run the heater on max for a bit each day and it will settle. Mine did. It took about 3 weeks of running the heater on max before it sat flush ( I had mine replaced in february !!)
