sisson18 Posted October 5, 2016 Posted October 5, 2016 Currently running falken 453. Rears - 285/35/19 99Y Front - 255/35/19 96Y Looking for some tyres when mine need replacing. Are there any better alternatives? Looked at MPSS but for £292.90x2 (rear) are to expensive! Toyo T1 sport are a good price but are they any better than falkens? I don't find my falkens very good in the rain but this may be due to them being worn. Under £180 a tyre would be nice. Thanks for reading; Quote
Ekona Posted October 5, 2016 Posted October 5, 2016 453 the best at that price. Although the MPSS are cheaper when you realise they'll last twice as long... Quote
sisson18 Posted October 5, 2016 Author Posted October 5, 2016 453 are about £135x2 = 270. More than twice as cheap. Quote
sisson18 Posted October 5, 2016 Author Posted October 5, 2016 Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 - £160ea. Don't know if these are any better? Quote
snoged Posted October 5, 2016 Posted October 5, 2016 just fitted Falkens on the front no complaints Quote
Ekona Posted October 5, 2016 Posted October 5, 2016 453 are about £135x2 = 270. More than twice as cheap. And less than half as good A lot depends on how you drive you car though too. If you're happy bimbling around then the 453 will probably do you fine, but personally on a sports car I'd rather run something actually sporty. 1 Quote
