Chris Knott insurance

Hi guys

 

I filled in an online form for Chris Knott insurance..received a call today whilst on the road,answered & the caller hung up straightaway ...googled number & it was aforementioned insurer.

 

Wondering if anyone out there deals with them??

I'm insured with them, good company, sure it wasn't just connectivity where you were?

It's probably an automatic dialer. To get the best efficiency out of their call centre they'll dial more people than they have agents on the phone, as in all likelihood only 1/3 of people will pick up. If you answer the phone and there isn't an agent available, the auto dallier will hold you for a few seconds in case an agent comes available and then hang up on you.

 

It's standard call centre practice, but they are only allowed to hang up on 3% of calls answers.

Nope, no auto dialler - we're not that sort of company and we don't subject our staff to that kind of pressure.
