chips
It feels like a bit of a silly question but: I'm attempting to fit an Eibach sway bar to the front. I can't undo the end bolts to remove the original issue bar. Are they really that difficult? I've managed to get the undertray and bushes bolts off or loose. I have no jack and am using a standard home tool kit length socket onto it.=not much leverage from the ratchet. I have sprayed the bolts with gt85 shortly before but neither will move. Is it simple as getting a longer ratchet or pipe onto the existing one to extend it? Any other tricks? The local garage quotes an hour or so, £50 and I'm booked in in case it won't move on my next attempt but I like to think I can get this one done myself. ZMANALEX
I good fitting socket and a bit of controlled leverage is all that you require.
