Windshield chip

Alright lads, I've managed to have a stone chip on my window which is developing into a crack 😢 I've bought a repair kit of eBay (rainX). Has anyone had any dealings with these kits and do they work?

Check with your insurer mate, most policies have free or very cheap windshield repair as standard.

 

I got a chip on my old celica nearly 7 years ago, admiral sent out a windscreen guy and he repaired it within a few hours, didn't count as a claim, either.

As G says, check your policy just to see where you stand. Most mobile windscreen fitting company's have the facility to fix chips so that they don't spread and you won't fail your MOT.
