SwissZ
Guessing this doesn't happen often as a forum search came up with nothing, but it was 'melt your face off' hot in Zürich today and the Z was showing 20° C. Was about to close the roof as I thought its getting a bit cool but then I thought, as my face was melting off, I'd hit the aircon button instead. I'm assuming the sensor's faulty, so my question is: Where is the sensor and can I replace it myself? Or... Is there some reset procedure for it? Pedal dance, holding seven buttons down at the same time, etc Cheers
350zedd
Its mounted on a small bracket below the bonnet catch next to the horns. I'm assuming its a thermistor type so as the temperature changes so would the resistance also. You could measure this with a multimeter (ohms) but as I dont have any lookup tables, can't tell what the resistance should be against a given temperature. Sorry thats all I know.
