Booked up to stay at Penrith but ill be driving to Bowness on Windermere also does anyone recommend a good restaurant for an evening meal on her birthday. Open to suggestions guys, from what I've worked out the hotel is 40 mins from Windermere so likely to be spending the day/evening their and returning to the hotel for drinks etc. Much appreciated guys Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

At one point I worked in a restaurant come jazz bar that was called zefferellis if that is of any use to you. It is a vegetarian restaurant but I'm not veggie and ate their regularly as it was all tasty. Disclaimer: I don't know if it's still there. Not been that way for a while now.
