There is a layby on the A509 just north of the M1 exit, it's (according to Google) 29 minutes from J8 and 20 mins from my house, so I can easily meet you there. If you let me know the vague time you plan to meet at Hemel and then Whatsapp me when you leave or something I can be there when you pass by Quote
