Plenum spacer fitted. Engine sounding louder

So I fitted a plenum spacer to my 03 DE. The car is sounding a lot louder.

I would expect a louder induction noise from outside. But was anyone's z noticeably louder inside the car as well ?

Can't say I noticed an increase in noise when I fitted mine, I do have a loud exhaust though. Do you have the standard air box or an after market air intake fitted ?.

I just have a standard air box.

I've managed to sort it. It was the strut brace touching the plenum....Bad vibrations !

Adjusted it to give clearance and all is good now.

Took it for a spin and there is definitely a gain in mid range torque. Im Impressed......nearly as good a mod as my stubby aerial
