Ignition feed for Auto Gearbox "Tiptronic" gear paddle switches

Hi,where is the best place to pick up a separate ignition feed for an Auto gearbox "Tiptronic" switch unit? The unit plugs into the existing loom for the "Tiptronic" switches near the gearbox/centre console, but needs a separate feed when the ignition is on plus an additional earth. The other end of the wiring is connected to switches on the steering column housing. The unit should not be live when the ignition is off.Can I pick up a feed from the stereo head unit power wires?("Tiptronic" - Mercedes term for manual changes on an Automatic gearbox. On the 350Z - press gear lever forwards = change up, backwards = change down))

Ahh sorry buddy,

I've been after one of these do you have the works bell shifter ?

did you get it recently?

Yes it Works Bell kit. Got mine back in September 2015 and now looking to get it fitted and wired up.

All I need is a feed that works when the ignition is on.

Any auto electricians on here?
