P0345 Fault Code - Cam Pos Sensor Circuit A Bank B

Hi I'm new here and have had my beauty of a 350z GT4 for a month. However, within the first week of owning it I got 'ESP OFF' 'MIL' and 'Traction Control' Lights on. This massively effects the performance and driveability of the car. Nissan in all their wisdom have changed said sensor but it did not fix. I have been looking on forums etc for a solution.

One thing, my Mrs wanted to drive it so I let her drive to the petrol station and she filled up with reg unleaded. Would this effect the timing/retard ignition??

Thanks for any help!

So lets get this right: You have been driving about for the last 3 weeks with the above mentioned lights on ?

The sensor for PO345 is Bank 2, so my next question is, have Nissan changed the correct sensor ?

What happens when you press the ESP button ?

Regular unleaded is never a good plan, however could have been worse if she had put Diesel in it.

Hi thanks for the reply. Thats right its been in and out of nissan whilst they ordered the correct part (they ordered a crank sensor first). They assured me that the car was still mobile. although i wasn't sure, i took their word for it being a main Dealer...

They changed the correct sensor (bank 2 passenger, drivers side has piston 1). Pressing the ESP button doesn't do anything as its already off.

Yeah could have been much worse, but it had about half a tank of RON98 in it still so wasn't a full tank of regular either.

Any ideas??

Note: I cleared the fault codes and did ECU Reset and Throttle Pedal Position reset in the early stages of investigation and the lights went but came back a few starts later....Same fault code

Thanks again!
