Passenger window after battery disconnect

Hi all ....Recently went away on holiday and my battery ran down so disconnected it to charge. Now my passenger window wont work or auto close the last cm when the door is shut. Is this normal? it was working before the battery was disconnected. I have been researching the window reset procedure will this work? not great at these things so don't want to take the door apart unless there's a good possibility of a fix.
