However, when I disconnect my ipod from the unit my ipod still says kenwood on the screen but will not switch off or go back to the menu. I had to do the reset process to unfreeze it. Any idea why? Chris`I Posted January 9, 2008 Posted January 9, 2008 Does the HU have a button to disconnect/"Eject" the ipod? I know on the PC if you just rip if off when its doing something it can cause it to hang like this, but I've never seen it happen on a HU and I had my ipod on my currect HU in my old car for about a year with no troubles. Does it work fine when its conencted? Quote

If you disconnect it while the HU is accessing the ipod, chances are it will crash, its an Apple after all Glad it works now Quote
