leeroy73 Posted January 8, 2016 Posted January 8, 2016 Hi guys I've an aftermarket stereo in the car. Which was in it when I purchased the car. The volume fades up and down randomly ... I've checked to see if the unit has some kind of auto function to do with volume but it hasn't. I've changed the amplifier over also. It does this on CD radio and Bluetooth. I have also updated the units firmware still the same. The only thing left to try is the steering wheel controls ( on the left of the wheel) anyone know how to get the panel off? Or is it complete wheel removal? Thanks in advance Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk Quote

matt89 Posted January 8, 2016 Posted January 8, 2016 I would love to know the answer to this. I've recently installed a aftermarket head unit, but I only get the fading volume using the rear usb cable from an iPod. Doesn't happen on cd, radio or front usb to iPhone. Weird as I didn't think the original Bose system had speed volume setting. It's also not consistent, sometimes low revs some times high revs, some times low speed, some times high speed. Drives me nuts! 1 Quote
