So yesterday i had my first track experience which i really enjoyed. It was at 3 sisters in wigan which is only a small tight track and they do race what you bring days every month and its £20 for 10 laps. Was good to get a feel for driving on a track.

Had a funny experience on my first time round, i had my traction control turned on to play it safe. When i was exiting certain corners the tcs would kick in and the light was flashing on the dash. Anyway as i came off the track a marshall stopped me and asked if my car felt under powered and if there was something wrong because it sounded like a cylinder wasnt firing, which i replied with it was my traction control but he was adamant something was wrong and told me to check it over. So to be safe i did check it and it sounded perfect to me, like it always has. I know he was trying to help but he was quite stubborn about the whole thing. Anyway apart from that i had a really good time, included some pictures below.

Had a sunny day off the other day so i thought id have a go at tinting my lights, managed to find some tinting spray in halfords. Pretty straight forward job and makes the back end look darker. Didnt want to go to dark as i dont fancy looking like a boy racer and didnt want the attention from the plod. f5c0e997c3f5b0393acc608cff94a0e9.jpg038b0c845ea1af51f226ff24a419c4fa.jpg18924ea3c63281d1fb5cc1e24f4f4d63.jpg whilst i kept myself occupied with that my dad kindly put my new drivers window in as mine has been scratched to death and not only did it look a mess but i struggled to see out my mirror1f6c862107c5cbf87f5f066cd9fda155.jpgfc996315716bf954a6e087051b3da35a.jpg

I spent many an hour hurtling around 3 sisters in my Vauxhall magnum rally car before the race track was developed.

It was just a flat area of smooth dirt then, and I used to practise opposite lock amid huge plumes of dust.....happy days!! :)

that sounds like a lot of fun! Very jealous. Its a very very small tight track but still so fun and great for beginners!

Picked some of the orange leather seats from cascade88 on the forum for quite a nice price after waiting since i bought the car. Really good condition and fairly easy job to fit, just debating weather to try and wire the heaters up27be23e85d0f98cf226d1cbe7ab1726a.jpg

Whilst the sun was out i managed to give it a good wash and polish and also tucked the rear bumper. I polished up my exhaust with some glass polish which works quite well and topped them with carbon collective wheel sealant to try and keep them shiny 789cc42bd54d55a2ae23b6bfd1cf7d36.jpg1e31f920b3a8c55df743a1e92baef5ef.jpgf605129f7bc6f4cadef4ccd529e417b2.jpg in the last few weeks ive been to a local car meet where my friend shot some cool photos and also went to 3 sisters in wigan again to have another go round the track, way too fun :Db7618ea31b1dea570b5409fc5a00827e.jpg7b69c5e5fa42c5fa4ce946b49f9a3c84.jpg124b271b7298180db7dd0d9b3b5b4998.jpg i think next on the list is some tein springs and anti roll bars which might be next months purchases

If you're doing springs and ARBs, it'd be rude not to do the Bilstein dampers whilst it's up in the air.

Car looks B)

thanks! I was actually looking at some of them but i dont think i could afford them anytime soon :(
