Ozz Posted January 1, 2008 Share Posted January 1, 2008 I'm a huuuge UB40 fan, got loads of their albums. Easily one of my favourite bands. Well, I've just obtained Ali Campbell latest album. It reads like a Crusty the Clown's revival special as he's dragged in artists such as Lemar, Katy Melua, Mick Hucknall and Beverly Knight. Oh its bad, its very bad. Maybe one or two listenable songs but unless the rest are 'growers' (if I can stand them again) then this is one to avoid... Half decent version of 'Would I lie to you' with the 'When its raining its raining' star Bitty Mclean. I think he's written a few, "I want one of those, in fact I'll have two, one for me and a spare for you.". He can't need the money that bad unless its for charidy.
