Sarnie Posted December 31, 2007 Posted December 31, 2007 ooo. i was expecting a resounding no He liked it IIRC. Sold it a couple of months back for about £350 I think. Do a search for more details as I can't be arsed Quote

MartinGT Posted December 31, 2007 Author Posted December 31, 2007 well, the reason i say is...its on ebay, 2nd hand, and the first bid is £100, so i stuck a reasonable bid in, if i get it cheap, why not, i can always change in the future and get my money back for it if it goes for more than i bid, then i'm not too fussed i could also use the centre section and have some nice boxes made up at my local (and very good and not usual tat) custom exhaust guy. cheapskate scotsman Quote
MartinGT Posted December 31, 2007 Author Posted December 31, 2007 well if everyone has a nismo kit, wheels and exhaust it'd be pretty boring i'm not a huge fan of single exits myself but it looks ok, so if i get it cheap i'll be happy. Quote
M13KYF Posted December 31, 2007 Posted December 31, 2007 and what about the huge carved our hole left behind. Looks unbalanced. Quote
MartinGT Posted December 31, 2007 Author Posted December 31, 2007 yes well that is an issue as i said, it could be a good base for a new back box. btw the guy i use does work for drag skylines, and did for colin mccrae (RIP), so he's top notch Quote
GIXXERUK Posted December 31, 2007 Posted December 31, 2007 and what about the huge carved our hole left behind. Looks unbalanced. +1 i can see what you mean about being different but its not for me , i like the twin exit, its one of best features of the zed no one has fitted a roof rack yet - food for thought Quote
tmJak Posted December 31, 2007 Posted December 31, 2007 Might look better with the greddy rear bumper? Should even it out but not too keen anyway. How's the exhaust sound anyone? Quote

Sarnie Posted December 31, 2007 Posted December 31, 2007 IMO, for whats its worth, which is not a lot, don't do it. One big exit pipe is very scooby/evo and therefore very chavvy Quote

MartinGT Posted December 31, 2007 Author Posted December 31, 2007 but i want a cheap exhaust scorpion one is cheap at £335 but someone said the piping is too small. i can get a dc sports system from funky power for a good price too. i just grudge paying stupid prices for nismo stuff. Quote

Get a DC then Or an RSR? Or even a scorpion then. And aren't the Nismo's only about £700 from AdamZ1? Quote
GIXXERUK Posted December 31, 2007 Posted December 31, 2007 iirc scorpion and mongoose are the cheapest, the nismo is expensive but you can get a decent price for it 2nd hand when you sell the car so you maybe lose less than with a cheaper brand ? http://www.everything350z.com/exhaust.html Quote
MartinGT Posted December 31, 2007 Author Posted December 31, 2007 yeah but theres £100 for a kakimoto which winds you lot up or £500 odd for a DC dc is nice, its the one with the box similar to original not the twin can one. having funky power up the road is dangerous! i need to think about the future thought with the supercharging idea...so i'd need to investigate that aspect of it too Quote
