Not sure if this was off the back of the TalkTalk fiasco, but this afternoon I got a call from a foreign gentleman saying there had been some worrying signals from TalkTalk line, and he wanted to check out my account.

 

I said that I had previously been with TalkTalk but had not used the account since 22 November.

 

He responded with 'Ahhhh, you lie. You a liar. fkin liar. You a liar, you hear me? fkin liar. [sings] Liar, liar. Liar, liar, fkin liar. Liar liar liar, you a fkin liar.'

 

It was at that point that I realised that it was indeed a genuine TalkTalk customer service call and hung up.
