Are these bits meant to be here?

So I've been replacing my undertray and wheel arch liners too as they were knackered. It turns out as well as the arch liners there's a separate small panel on each side around the antiroll bar bushes that connects the chassis to the inside of the arch liner, presumably for extra stiffness. My passenger side one is missing creating a void and leaving the arch a little unsupported and consequently the tray as well eventually when it's fitted.

here's the panel...

and the void it fills..

Now the issue is that there's a set of hoses right where it should go and I'm not sure that's where they should be as they're pushing the tray down regardless of I could somehow fit the panel in.

heres the hoses on the right pushing the archliner down..

and another angle..

they run across the front..

into this area...

SO what are they and are they meant to be there as they don't seem well fitted!

Cheers for any help!

Don't believe I've a super charger or turbo charger, air box looks stock, I'd assume that would be a very obvious mod? Is it possible it was fitted by itself? Have to admit I've never heard the radiator fans spin!

Yes that would be a very obvious mod. I should imagine it was fitted by itself. Maybe the previous owner took the car on track a bit. As for fans I'd check that out as the should work.

Id look closer at them as well mate as they look moist where they go on by the filter so maybe leaking slightly.

Wipe it clean and inspect again in a weeks time as you don`t want to over tighten those ally fittings
