a friend of mine advised me to run a ghost account on interactive investor, so i can get my head around it with no worries.

Always been interested in buying stocks, but never sure where to start.
Any websites you can advise where to read up to get an understanding of everything?
What is the best way to start?

the hotel are right, its not their responsibility. But give the local plod a call, report it as a hit and run due to the fact the person fled from the seen of the accident. They then have the authority to see the cctv and will be able to get the plate and track the person down!
use the police, its what you pay your taxes for!
but sorry to hear it mate, hopefully will get sorted soon

one of my mates got an asbo for powersliding his ariel atom round a roundabout late at night!
it seems a right shambles as i'd ask what training the people who reported it have? are they IAM? are they ex police? if not, i'm not accepting it!

Make it obvious to them, If they break it they buy it! even get them to just sign a bit of paper stating this.
I personally wouldn't go to the hassle to arrange fully comp insurance on a car that i'm just going to see and if i like it give a deposit and return to pay rest and pick it up later. As unless its 100+ miles away and if i like it, i'll drive it home that day.
I'd only let them out in a car if i was in the passenger seat and they knew the above rule. Also maybe you drive them to an industrial estate, or carpark. Gives them enough space to check they fit with the car. There is no need on a test drive to go hooning down country roads. Read a review of the car and check it can handle country roads, then test drive it to check you and the car feel comfortable together.

Reminds me of
think i prefer the lambo, but wow at his gf's patience

i'd say off as TC in most cars usually bogs it down.

aww only came across this, if it was a week earlier i'd make the trip up to meet the oldies and new folk!
-
any pics? its going to end up as a ek zed meet with the increase of zeds going!!
-
some advice for shooting the zed, get to know the car as at first glance, you will get lovely angles but if you spend time just walking around it, more angles will appear that are better than the obvious!
-
a caterham is quicker 0-60 than a lot of supercars but top speed is lacking.
i'd class hyper cars as anything daft and capable of over 200mph
some things i'd agree with "souped up" as the astra vxr (especially the ring version) is quick as fook same with the clio v6.
reliability is also something to consider. I'd say tvr is a supercar over a sports car cause they are seen more in a garage being fixed than on the road.

Hey Coops,
is this offer still available? as Got a new chain and sproket set that needs fitted!
any chance i could borrow you and your skills?

As from a police officer friend,
Undertaking is legal, may be a slight grey area depended on the officer you deal with.
Their is no exact law on "undertaking" as above it is just the act of overtaking slower moving traffic. Similar to filtering on the motorbike.
Be wary though, as above also stated. If you were to weave in and out of the traffic then you are more likely to be booked for dangerous driving, or driving without due care.
It is all in the way you do it! be sensible, and you'll be fine. do it like a tit and be wary of the blue lights.

where have you been lurking Adam ???
Irfan my garage / workshop will be out my back garden...you do remember how big that is right ?
i will put adverts in all the usual places today and see what feedback i get and if no ones interested at this point i will proceed with the super charger and sell it next year
all my supercharger parts will be leaving the good ol USA this week
Paul
I've been lurking in the background occasionally checking but not posting much, going to try and start posting more now thought.
If you were really wanting to get rid of it, i'd say stick it on strathy cruise as they all seem to have their jaws on the floor when they see it!

i'm surprised jay is only after the wheels, i though he would bite your hand off for the car.
Good luck with the sale!
-
not sure in the boot, but i know you can fit spare wheels in the passenger side of an elise so i'm guessing you could do it that way in a zed as well!
-
i'd be interested in meet 1 and 2, meet 1 i'd either be on the bike, in the wee clio or need to be somones co-pilot. Means i can find what good roads are about here, as all i've found so far was a brilliant road about an hours drive away, taking me all the way to the borders and a short one from acklam to stokesly.

down here only know, me, my gf, her friends from college that have come to the same uni course as her, and thats it. Hence the idea of a sociable poker game!
Thought the zed needed a bulge

Blade Blade Blade,
if you go with black, you need to get the strip of black from bumper continued up onto the bonnet!
as you know i'll be honest about your car to you!
