  1. It isnt cheap £700 for the unit and another £65 for steering interface so i can still you the buttons on the wheel.
  2. Didnt fit it myself but the i know the boys who did it very well, just a facia that fills the gap left by the odd shaped bose.
  3. Not had chance to play with it yet.So you do soundoffs do you are you a SPL guy or a SQ. I was into that about 9 years ago with a Escort Cosworth, had the full works phoenix gold amps zpa0.3 and 0.5,2x phoenix gold xmax12"subs in fiberglass boxes on either side of the boot, phoenix gold 215ix eq,cliff design components up front.Sounded awesome, not going to those lenghts this time maybe a decent amp, some components and a sub.
  4. I decided to bin the Bose today in favour of this Its a Alpine IVA-W202R.I think it looks a lot better aswell as giving full details of whats playing on my IPOD,will also play CD/DVD. This maybe the start of some more ICE improvements as i saw some more goodies in the showroom where i bought it.
  5. Got mine from. http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/
  6. I use my cheaper detail sprays to aid drying. But i applied the Zaino after the car was dry as it also acts as a sealant.
  7. Tell me about the thin paint. Had it detailed in Feb and the guy who did it refused to do the bottom of the doors where it slopes in as the readings he took where to low.
  8. Oh i wont be using it after every wash, not at that price anyway.I have some CG detail spray i usually use when drying,so the Zaino will be for before shows.Just thought i would try today to see what the results are like.
  9. No i have not used Z6,only tried this because i saw it was new.Never thought about Zaino stuff before,i use Swissvax wax.But after using this i will be looking at more of their stuff.
  10. Its used in between waxes so you dont have to keep layering.Gives good results.
  11. I tried some Zaino Z8 today and i thought it was really good stuff.Just spray on a panel at a time and buff off gives really good gloss to the paint and felt really slick after. So hopefully car will be easier to clean in future, highly recommended although a pit on the pricey side at £18. Oh wax was applied about a month ago so i think its really brought it back up.
  12. Cant make Thursday nights as i work nights.Have a good one though.
  13. Will fully synthetic be better when engine is cold.I do a lot of short trips so i thought full synthetic would be better for the engine.
  14. I am going to have to top my oil up before its next service.Do you have any advice on which to get,i was thinking of Mobil 1 but have noticed they do 3 different ones now.Any ideas?
  15. Thats ok i want it in mph and its the one with the silver rev counter. How much are you talking for the cluster then?
  16. If you want deep looking wet paint then you will have to buy a decent wax.As metioned before visit detailingworld.
  17. So its going to be in kmh then.
  18. Autoglym is ok,but if your after a wax that lasts longer then you will have to buy a canabua wax. There are lots on the market its a matter of what you think looks best on your car and how much you want to spend. I use Swissvax Best Of Show as it was recommended by the guy who detailed my car.Its expensive at £100 a pot but when you consider i will get 30 to 40 applications out of it,its not that bad. If you want to learn a bit more on detailing try Detailingworld.co.uk its a forum dedicated to all detailing stuff.
  19. Thats the one i have seen where the rev counter is a different colour.I thought it was white, must have been the photos. So its silver where can i get just the rev counter.
  20. Tim how much did you pay for clocks and where did you get them from?
  21. Not sure, saw it on the forum and quite liked it.Dont know about the 9k revs either.Just have to see if anyone comes up with anything.
