  1. and the search is still on for my zed hehe...

determined with the climate the way it is to bag a bargain!

what do you think of this? seems almost TOO cheap ?

have emailed the guy to ask the obvious questions.. will report back when he replies.. Is this gunmetal? hard to tell in the photo

  2. imo a limited edition should have a feature which makes it easy to spot.

+1 or bright yellow for example

And my GT4 alloys are in perfect condition with no flacky paint or scuffs. They are in the garage whilst nismo's are bolted to the car. :p

aye but of course! no arguing with the bright yellow :) however if you wanted it in black.. then it kinda blends in with the non GT4s :)

  3. just looked at a black GT4 with slighty more miles on it (private sale) and the guy wont budge on £12,250.. if dealers are prepared to shift them at £11.5k or less then makes me think maybe the one ive just looked at isnt such a good deal! Thanks for the info :)

I would not be selling my 13000 miler at anything near £12,250 i would want a lot more. I guess i would not sell but no way am i letting what is really pretty much a perfectcar go for stupid money. :surrender:

what if i through in a pack of skittles ? :)

  4. just got back from looking at a GT4, having a limited edition is pretty sweet but imo aside from the alloys (which can be changed easily anyway) you'd have to actually go as far as pointing out the badge inside the car before anyone knew its a limited edition. imo a limited edition should have a feature which makes it easy to spot, maybe a slightly different grill or added spoiler or something..

  6. Is it possible to buy the GT4 alloys seperate?

Im looking at a GT4 for £12,250 tomorrow and also a non GT4 of the same year and same milage for £10,800 ... just wondering if its really worth the extra £1450 spend to get the GT4 edition or not.. both are 05 plate on 37k miles, taxed and mot'd for a long time in black. Assume there is no room for price haggling as I've already done that :)

Wondering if i could pick up the alloys for the £1450 and still ahve the old ones to sell on? I'm non too worried about the extra BHP the GT4 gives just really like the alloys and the idea of having a limitd edition :)

  7. Still i think its a bargain mate if all looks good whe ya go to view it

aye also locally theres a gumetal grey (6months newer and 16k less miles) for £11.5k so £750 cheaper for a newer car with less miles... think i prefer the black though and the gt4 alloys are very nice looking.. damn im so fussy !

    :wacko::wacko::wacko:

  8. Still on the hunt for my 350z..

what do you guys make of this:

    http://search.autotrader.co.uk/es-uk/www/cars/NISSAN+350+Z/Ne-2-4-5-6-7-8-27-44-49-53-61-64-67-103-133-146-236,N-87-171-240-4294966394-4294967243/advert.action?R=200847323951189&distance=22&postcode=bh211uj&channel=CARS&make=NISSAN&model=350+Z&min_pr=8000&max_pr=14000&max_mileage=

Seems like a good deal to me? what was the difference with the GT4 editions apart from the alloys and the free playstation2 ?

Is this a good price ?

and lastly what should I look out for if i go and look at it on wednesday? (Ive asked for some more photos in the mean time before i make the journey)

    cheers

  9. thanks for all the feedback so far, starting to agree with you all and I like the idea of fitting an entertainment system in the cubby hole :) Can anyone recommend any good "how to" links (apart from obviously the wealth of info on this forum which im now going to plough through) :teeth:

Also just how much space is there in the cubby hole? :) I didnt think to look when I took one out for a test drive the other day

  10. Still on the hunt for a 350z, one of my requirements is sat nav, just wondering how expensive it is to buy a birdview system 2nd hand and how hard it would be to fit it? Also what is the general opinion of the factory fitted birdview system? I like the look of the large screen and controls but currently I am turning down nicely priced 350z's due purely to them not having the satnav so wondering how viable it is to buy one without and fit it afterwards..

also a real quick noobish question.. silver and gun metal..I am right in thinking these are 2 very different paint jobs ? :)

  11. I have a 296bhp 2006 coupe.

I am afraid the car you are looking at is a 276bhp version - immediate tell take signs looking at your pics on photobucket is the interior and the front 'bumper' does not have the indent - see pics below. Nothing wrong with the 276 - but they are advertising somthing it isn't and value-wise it's not such a bargain.

The Rays look repairable - pm me if you want further info.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but better you know before you buy ;)

    Colin

Thanks so much for that, theres another one near me for £13.5k is 6months older but only has 19k on the clock (however it needs taxing and still 2 new tires). Might be a better buy.

Is it worth holding out for the 296bhp version ?
