completely independant unbiased viewpoint,

Great minds?
they look like the best combination of wheels/tyres/zed i could imagine. nicely done m8

I used to get 24mpg average from my audi (2.0 T) so moving to the zed made no difference really (other than grin factor)
I thought they'd easily do over 30MPG. I was thinking it was down to driving style til you said the Zed does the same. Thats shocking from a 2.0T. My mates Evo gets about 20MPG and that chucks fuel out the back, very literally from the smell!
around town the audi was awful, tho fun to drive (to a degree) and v quick throttle response, i had the flappy paddle semi-auto box (dsg??) and loved it, but its the same old case of putting a too higher powered engine in a chassis built for a soot chucker...
It was easier to get 36-38 out of the Audi on motorway cruises than the zed (my highest is 35mpg on way to sunderland to save myself some money before seeing the bill
)
In contrast i had a 2.0TDI (140bhp) A3 before the petrol and got 60mpg out of that constantly from almost new.

maybe you should buy some carbon fibre shoes?

Looking good
(the car looks nice and clean but you need to clean those tyres up and apply some tyre dressing - time to ditch the 'i've just had new tyres fitted' look
)
Oh shhh luke lol! I still support that look mainly cause am a lazy sod
It will be cleaned/polished/waxed this weekend
-
Likewise $i pleasure doing business with you too, hope i didnt destroy your eardrums on the way past
-
ive certianly noticed an increase in mid range pull since having mine fitted. especially in 2nd - 3rd gear changes at about 3.5k rpm upwards, the misses also commented on the difference,
I will be at santapod on the 16th August to prove it one way or another with an after mod run, so hoping to beat 14 seconds (pre mod run), if i dont then ill be blaming the amount of pies consumed between going.

good choice beavis, i also have a panasonic plasma and it does look really sweet on it
-
22000 here, i dropped geography in school cause the history teacher was better looking, wow was that a poor decision
-
im very pleased with it, thx for the comments
hadnt noticed before but it appears my car is relieving itself in the first picture...
just the coilovers to go now and then im hoping to leave it a while!
-
Well, decided to start modding the zed having told myself it was a perfectly fine car to begin with, im blaming everyone on here for that, although id like to give a special mention to Beavis for the wheels, as I was sold as soon as i saw them, anyway:
Plenum Spacer
Lower Oil Collector
White Reflectors
K1 Exhaust
19" Nismo's (with falkens)
Bonnet Lifters
ESR could not of been more helpful, a big thankyou to you all, especially Phil + Andrew, evidently the misses liked being driven around sunderland in a blacked out lexus, v nice
I have had the bungs out of the exhaust and it sounds awesome, put them back in this morning to go to work and it still sounds awesome, the tone has altered slightly since i was 'oop north' last week but just seems to be getting better !
I would suggest anyone wanting a loud exhaust with a great tone to go an check this out, or if your in the w.mids to check the one on my car out.
Apologies for the Dirt, didnt have a chance to clean it on the weekend,
-
not to put a downer on this but ive ran different tyres on front/back before and found that having the worst tyres on the driven wheels to be quite an odd feeling,
id take it easy for a month if you do decide to do it, especially going to toyos, the difference is likely to be quite large...
-
if it is the REVUP engine you will need the lower collector to take advantage of the plenum
(ive just had this done on a 56 plate.)
-
ive seen that quite a few times in warwick too
-
actually ignore that, my car is still garaged and was in a fiesta
-
Wasnt me tho i was in leamington last night
-
Payment indeed sent, they are sold to Mr $i.
-
Welcome to the forum bud,
i also have an 06 black gt and have the blue dots!! no idea on why tho...
good choice of colour!
-
$i seems interested so hopefully he will have them, just deciding whether or not to buy a semi-decent trolley jack and change them myself or take it to a garage.
-
I think youll find its this years pinup, tho im sure he's used to that sort of thing , I had forced this as a backdrop across the domain i support but my boss made me take it off
-
right then
hard to see but a slight chip where a 'friend' took one of the wheels off.
found that i have kerbed one
but extremely small amount of damage.
Just in case anyone wants a screen saver! THE SHIRT!!!
-
unfortunately due to a funding problem i will not be attending the track itself, tho i might come and spectate, i have to get the other track car ready for august 30th and am too stretched for time,
sorry guys!
-
still for sale indeed, uploading pics now though unsure how well they will turn out... quite dark outside and the camera hasnt got enough of a lens to take pics in garage...
-
Hi all,
I will post some pics when i get back from work this evening,
though i do have this one
want £550 for the 4 +shipping, slight damage to bit around the wheel nuts on the front two, no kerbing tho.
these are off a 56plate uk car covered about 14k miles
The tyres on the wheels are the standard bridgestones and need replacing on at least 3.
And the answer was....
