  1. looks superb B)

what pads did you use ?

did you upgrade the flexi pipes ?

When I spoke to him he said he had Ferodo DS2500 pads fitted, they come as standard with the AP big brake kit…

Flexi pipes upgraded, Ferodo pads all round

I do now have a lot of stuff clogging up the garage, misses not happy :D

  2. I was planning on buying an atom, basically want a dedicated track car, having got my msa license i want to in another year start using this :)

atom was awesome but 35k to wait 2 years to a small uk manafacturer in the current climate, meh, i still really enjoy the zed as well so

    thanks for the comments

  3. no they wernt but i have some large plans for this thing :)

was between the endless kit and this, and although the endless system probably looks a bit better RJN/AP/Nissan developed this particular kit specifically for the 350, the brake feel and stopping power is immense.

  4. Hi all,

Many Thanks to Bob and his Team at RJN, very professional and excellent service/value. I would recommend anyone thinking of going down the performance route to have a word with them, look them up here

Had some good advice and didnt mind me bugging them most days with silly questions.

Brakes were 6pot AP Racing front discs and 4pot rears with slotted discs, motul fluid and braided lines

Suspension (supplied by CS, again great service) setup by RJN, KW Variant 2 Coilovers.

Also RJN supplied some Camber adjustments, one new one and one used off their race car... :D

So, its now been cleaned so some pictures ;)

Both suspension and brakes are a vast improvement but i will divulge more when its been back to the track,

Some other ideas in the pipeline, hoping to put the car on a diet soon so i will let you know :)

  5. Bugger...

Thanks for the replies though guys...

I wouldn't say that its intrusive at all times. Only maybe once a day (not multiple times). Which by the sounds of the replies doesn't sound as normal as I thought :-( lol

However there are often occasions when I boot the car and really give it some, I get nothing. Then just pottering down a country lane about 25/30mph or something, I go to give it a bit of gas, traction control kicks in... makes acceleration all juddery and light stays on until you lift of for a couple of seconds...

I guess there is no way of knowing for sure how or what your tyres are on at the precise moment the traction control kicks in. But I have monitored it for a month or so now and the times it does kick in just seem bizzare in that it almost suprises you it has because you arn't driving it hard... (if that makes sense)? ;-) lol

Obviously if this is not normal, what are my options in terms of getting it rectified? Thanks again guys...:thumbs:

Sounds like grip m8, i had that issue with the stock bridgestone tyres, changing them to a wider tyre/alloy combination helped immensely.

  6. having tried to sell mine recently and then decided that selling the zed was a rediculous idea cause i love it  , i can say that sarnies guestimate of about 14-15k is about right, i was offered 16k for mine with nismo wheels and 8000 miles less on the clock, same year/spec etc..

altho bizarrely the nismo wheels are now worth more than i brought them for but thats another conversation!

  7. 6 pot 365mm slotted AP Racing discs at the front, 4 pot same at the back, ferodo pads all round with braided hoses and some good brake fluid  , i have some pics but they dont really do it justice, ill take some in daylight when the cars clean!

  8. KW suspension ordered/delivered, thanks Mr CS, good price, arrived on time, great service  , as time was quite critical as the car was booked in before i ordered the equipment (possibly my fault) great that you managed to get to me on time cheers for that :p

Suspension has been fitted now and is one of the best upgrades ive gone for so far, i will be taking the car back to the track in the next month so will give more of an update once it has been on the track but even spirited road driving is working out nicely

    Pictures etc will follow

    Cheers

    :teeth:
