    No updates from Andrew because he will be worried about having to pay back the people he ripped off.

    I think that is a bit below the belt mate. From what I saw/heard Andrew always wanted to reimberse everyone he could. It was other family members that cut their losses with it all and stopped responding. I think Andrew grew tired of trying to explain this to everyone. Phil was a massive part of this community and is sorely missed. I have no doubt in my mind that if he was to make a full recovery and had the power to do so, he would personally refund everyone who was out of pocket.

    Didn't ask for an opinion,just stating a fact.

    Dont know what "facts" you have to substantiate the claim that Andrew was ripping people off, but please feel free to PM me with them if you have anything new to add. Andrew was not the one who chose to close the business or the one who controlled the businesses finances.

     

    Not getting into an arguement with you but Andrew was stood there when I handed his Dad the cash.In my original pm's he agreed to pay me back,then he changed his mind and ****ed off.

     

    Having read a few threads over the last couple of days its obvious some mods favour certain traders.Maybe ESR was one of yours.

    I would hope it was a team decision...

     

    I think if the reason was the content then it should have been made clear a lot earlier - I even ran some of the more 'close to the bone' jokes past mods before I posted. There was no pornographic content or graphic images. If a young person read the posts and understood them then no harm done in IMHO.

     

    I can assure you in terms of child protection and internet safety there were no issues ...if that was what the team is worried about check out CEOPs guidance - http://www.ceop.gov.uk

     

    To let it run for three months and then decide to pull it seems a bit off to me...I just wanted to highlight the fact that there was zero discussion or reason given - appreciate your responses :)

     

     

    i agree with Vik - it kept all that type of jokes in one place and had become (for some of us) a bit of male/female competition and banter and was generally a good laugh. It was also VERY easy to avoid if you were sick of it or not interested as you knew exactly what it was when it popped up again. If anything got close to the mark then it could have been deleted. I'm a bit disappointed at that decision to be honest.

    I'm lucky enough never to have been in an accident so don't have any idea about the costs involved in puting somehting like this back on the road but I'd imagine there are a few of you guys who'd have the facilities and expertise to fix this up?

    Has anyone ever fixed a damaged repairable before? - I was contemplating maybe getting another track car and thought this might be a cheap way of doing it? - Maybe a Clio 172 or something else light and fairly powerful.

    I like how they say light panel damage - the whole fe***g side is ripped off!! No suspension damage?? I doubt it - that is one hell of a knock! :lol:

     

    Pfft,easy repair.Find one that has had the passenger side stoved in.Cut them both in half and a touch of welding,half a can of hammerite and there you go.A zed anyone would be proud to own. :band:

    Am i the only one wondering what would of happened if the cat wasnt spotted and the engine had been started? :scare: I love cats.....shame i have an allergy! :(

     

    I killed 2 of my Aunties cats like that.Called to pick up a letter and was in and out the house in 2 mins.2 miles later on the dual carriageway,bump,bump.Wondered what the hell I'd hit and when I looked in the mirror saw 2 cats bouncing down the Rd.Turned the car around and pulled in a layby on the other side of the Rd,hopped over the barrier and recognised them as being Aunties.Took them back to the house and buried them in the animal graveyard at the bottom of the garden.Always popped the bonnet after that incident.Unfortunately cats will head anywhere they can get a warm bed. :byebye::byebye:
