  1. I have a Cheetah GPS Mirror for sale, GPS camera tracking device which clips over your existing mirror - it has a blue tint to the mirror as well so you dont get any glare from lights at night. It is used but in mint condition - no scratches. Still boxed with instructions & power adapter to connect to cig lighter adapter.

Sorry I havent posted a pic as busy with house move, here's an ebay link to give you an idea:-

Looking at £40 all in with postage, they retail at £99. Paypal or cheque or direct bank transfer - pm please.

  2. It looks as if the zed will have to sell, I'm going abroad to work, might be 6 months, might stay longer. House is being rented out so no point keeping the zed parked up for 6 months.

Anyway, if anybody is interested in the following then PM me with your offer please:-

    1) 20mm eibach & 25mm eibach spacers

    2) Rear Led's

    3) K&N typhoon intake finished in blue with scoop

    4) MAF sensor - spare and fully working.

This is not an easy thread for me, but needs must.

  3. Here's my thoughts:-

Ran on 'Stones originally and had nothing to compare with but they were crap in the wet.

Changed to MPS (not PS2's) and they were a massive improvement but expensive. However I was getting 15k out of the rears and I got 30k out of the front set, therefore I only had to change the rears once to keep the match.

I then changed to Falken FK452's to save money as the MPS were £700 a full set and FK452's were around £380 a full set.

I must say the MPS were the best but expensive, I don't think I'll get anywhere near 15k out of the rears of the 452's - maybe more like 12k, and maybe a tad more out of the fronts, say 14k but not 30k like the MPS!!! I have noticed the 452's do understeer when pushing in bends and they don't like broken tarmac and the feedback in the wheel is telling me this. Whereas the MPS were far superior.

But for a daily drive on motorways, in the wet, around town I must say the 452' s are as good as the best. It's really whether you can justify expensive tyres for total performance. I don't think you can beat the 452's for their money.

  4. Hope it doesn't go pear shaped Dave - I work in the Logistics industry and worked on a 300,000 sq ft greenfield distribution centre for Wolseley (Bathstore, build centre etc), the total cost was £30m which went live in Jan 08, I was the main IT PM on-site (contractor), anyway they announced last month it's closing, goes up for sale in August!!!

    Scary stuff..... :scare:

  5. Nice example and the best colour imo.

Just make sure it's had it's 27k service, check tyres have decent tread and brake discs don't have too much of a lip. I bought mine in 2007 with similar mileage and got caught out with the discs as they needed replacing at 30k - live and learn I guess.

Still at 29k miles it should be like new - enjoy the test drive.

  6. Oh my god, what an amazing sight! Not sure if it's a wrap or out of the factory sprayed but it was amazing. I was coming from Alderley Edge direction (say no more).

It was like the one below, but in the sun it just looked amazing! I was never a massive fan of a satin or matt finish but after seeing one of my favourite cars and the unusual paint finish - I was sold.

  7. Notice of intended prosecution doing 38 mph in a 30.

However, I got flashed by a couple of other cars and I specifically remember slowing down to 20mph before I reached the bend before I even saw the van. I'm pretty adamant I wasn't speeding. What can I do - will they show me the video / photo evidence if I ask them? I can't really say " I was flashed and I slowed down!"

Don't want any more points ffs.

  8.

370z vs Mustang vs Genesis coupe..... I thought the 0-60 on the 370z was around 5.5s and not any faster? I guess this is a combination of weather / tyres / fuel on-board.

If it is around 4.7s then that's not far off M3 performance and for the 370z price an absolute bargain.
