  1. just checked we have them in stock and they are £125 for the pair

    Envy Performance Ltd

£125 :scare: There is a thread on here somewhere where they we doing them for £40 honest.

I'd drop them a line, see what they say... I'll try and find the thread.

Checkout - Water Transfer Printing, I saw some at Silverstone on a 350Z

Almost any effect on plastic including serveral types of CF - and IMO looks better than the real thing...no dodgy mouldings because they print on your original oem part.

  2. Ironically I offered it on here for £85 first... :D

With the cable grief I've now got with Parrot I almost wish I'd bought it.

Off topic but what problem have you got with the Parrot?

Its finding the correct cables, a 350Z with a Bose system should require an SOT129 cable....no chance!! it doesn't fit the dongle connector.

2 Cables required should be here Monday, the chap at Vstore seems to know his way around a Zed.

  3. I suppose that could be one explanation but you would have to give it some serious slipping to get the fluid to actually boil. It could also be a faulty slave cylinder, or even something with the pedal linkage itself. Have you checked the fluid to see if its low?

Sounds a bit sus to me, its not unusually for brake fluid to boil if you really over-cook the brakes...but for the fluid to boil in a clutch system  I think the centre plate would have disintegrated before that happend.

Next they'll be saying you lost your power steering cos the fluid boiled...now that would be scary :drive1

  4. A Nismo exhaust costs about $450 to get flown over the pond :)

ah how mistaken you are :)

there is a reason SO many people here have purchased this exhaust from us over the last many months

we have an absolutely fanstastic shipping rate worked out on international items - and the bigger/heavier it is, the better the deals get

So the delivery charge for an exhaust to the UK would be.....?

  5. I'm looking at buying an exhaust and depending on how much of my budget is taken in duty and tax, possibly some high flow cats :teeth:

The price in $ will not be far off £'s by the time you add the shipping and the rest of the charges into the UK...exhaust will be heavy so for it to fly will deffo cost a few £££.

Volumetric weight will be a killer on an exhaust if its in a box

  6. Hi Guys,

Sorry if this has been posted before but I'm looking at importing some parts from the States and am trying to sort out my budget, i've got costs for purchasing and shipping but I'm not sure what happens once it gets to the uk, do I have to pay import duty and VAT? any advise gratefully received :)

If the value is much above $30 you'll be paying the carrier £12-£15 for them to collect the payment, VAT and duty.

Duty will depend on the taric code used, but normally between 1.5 - 7%

  7. After receiving their daily b*ll*cking at last some paperwork for the Z turned up. Now from previous new vehicle purchases the wallet hardly closes its full of so much junk....I've got:

    Naff Nissan wallet

    Owners Manual

    Service book

    Letter of conformity

Letter stating covered by 3 year Nissan warranty

    It seems so empty.

    No V5

    No breakdown info

No letter of provenance as promised.

    What else am I missing?

  8. Do you think I'd get stung for the duty or is there a good chance I'd get away with it?

The total cost would be £48.31. If I had to pay the duty I'd probably end up paying more.

At the end of the day we remove that uncertainty £55 including delivery, no shocks and available next day.

I need some bling Phil, sick of losin to C & J

  9. I owned a car bodyshop in a previous life...well the 80's anyway, you weren't even a seed then :teeth:

No fancy cloths and flashy waxes then, turtle wax and a piece of clean muslin if you were lucky, bits out of the old rag bag if you weren't.

Ahhhh the smell of cellulose in the morning
