  1. I'm about to install some front DBA's for the first time and noticed that very few tutorial videos mention checking the runout. Would a good garage go to the trouble of checking this or just install the discs and then check for any brake judder?

  2. You can edit the original post yourself by all means, nothing to stop you doing that.

But the thread will disappear until such time a mod/admin is online to approve the edit.

I know it can be a bit of a pain, but we do it this way to best protect buyers

That's fine, I just wanted to check it was working as expected and that I wasn't being stupid :). The confused buyers got me thinking.

  3. The thread only disapears when you edit the original post. Something which I know you have done a few times.

the way the code works, is when you edit the original post it defaults to the point that it thinks the thread is asking for approval.

Subsequent posts made by you or a potential buyer do not cause the thread to be hidden.

The new posts do not become visable until they are approved.

Ah okay. So if I want to update the title to include 'SOLD' should I request this from a mod? That will make it disappear as well. I've seen threads that get quite messy where the price keeps dropping and new info is added. Buyers then have to scan down through to figure out the current price and any corrections to the description, rather than just seeing all the latest info in the first post.

  4. It looks like this old approval system is still in place for FS threads. Maybe I'm following the wrong process but the problem I'm having is numerous PMs from interested parties saying 'why has the FS thread suddenly disappeared?' when I've either made an edit to the first post or submitted a subsequent post. Surely it would be better to allow the thread to remain visible and only show the changes once approved? Or does the forum software the site runs off not allow this?

  5. Whats the drop range on these like? I know I could do my own research and look at their website but i'm far far too lazy

Hmm, that's a good question, and even on the website it doesn't give precise numbers. The owner, Jerrick, says:

The MeisterR coilovers have a wide range of height adjustment that will allow you to set your ride height from near stock high to slammed on the ground low.

I ran them at stock height so I'm not sure tbh.

  6. Great condition although there is some cosmetic paint flaking off them. They've completed around 30k miles on a 53 plate Z. Bushes not included.

    Collection preferred from Cheltenham.

  8. A great set of coilovers for road or track use that I debated long and hard about selling. The reason I'm selling is because my Z already has coilovers fitted, but if I'm honest I prefer the Zeta-R's. They're fantastic for general road use on the softest setting and not as harsh as some setups. Great condition although there is some cosmetic paint flaking off the springs. They've completed around 8k miles on a 53 plate Z. Front spring rate is 10kg, rears are 8kg.

I'm also including the rear damping extenders which allow you to adjust the damping easily from within the boot. If you're not keen on drilling the small hole into the trim to accommodate these I'll also sell my trim panels which are pre-cut for an additional £15 so you could keep your original trim panels should you ever wish to return to stock. All fixings, C-spanners, instructions and the original box are also included.

These currently retail for £950 if you include the additional rear damping extenders, more info including specs are available from the Meister-R website http://www.meisterr.com/Site/Zeta-R.html. Please note I have the 2010 version of these that doesn't require the rear adjustable toe arms that come with the 2011 version spec shown on this website.

    Collection preferred from Cheltenham.

£500 exc delivery. £15 for delivery to the UK mainland with City Link.

  10. Proven torque gains and one of the must-have mods on any 350Z. The reason I'm selling is because the extra torque isn't really needed on my new twin turbo Z. Great condition, completed around 12k miles on a 53 plate Z. Comes complete with all original fixings, ISO thermal gasket and instructions.

Collection preferred from Cheltenham but I'll update shortly with the additional cost for UK delivery.

    £110 exc delivery.

  12. If you want to hear the V6 engine as it should sound get one of these fitted! The sound is simply fantastic and makes the standard air box sound dull in comparison. The only reason I'm selling is because it won't fit my new twin turbo Z. Great condition, completed around 12k miles on a 53 plate Z and recently cleaned and re-oiled. Comes complete with all original fixings, heat shield and instructions.

    Collection preferred from Cheltenham.

£75 exc delivery. £8 for delivery to the UK mainland with Royal Main Standard Parcels.

  14. For sale is my 53 plate 350Z manual coupe, a UK car complete with GT Pack which includes 18" RAYS alloy wheels and heated seats. Here is a summary of the main features:

    • [*:33ril006]Azure Blue
      [*:33ril006]Standard 3.5l V6 engine (276bhp), 6 speed manual
      [*:33ril006]Air conditioning and climate control
      [*:33ril006]Xenon headlights
      [*:33ril006]Leather seats
      [*:33ril006]Cruise control
      [*:33ril006]Electric and heated seats
      [*:33ril006]Brembo brakes
      [*:33ril006]350Z mats
      [*:33ril006]70k miles
      [*:33ril006]1 previous owner
      [*:33ril006]12 months MOT
[*:33ril006]11 months road tax (lower VED band K, £260)
[*:33ril006]Very good condition thanks to a full service history
[*:33ril006]Body work is also very good for the age of the car
[*:33ril006]All receipts, V5 certifcate, HPI certifcate, log book and 2 keys are included
[*:33ril006]Original 6-CD BOSE head unit included (see upgraded head unit details below)

A few subtle, additional items have been added:

    • [*:33ril006]Full stainless steel
    Japspeed K2 exhaust and y-pipe
[*:33ril006]NISMO side skirts and rear bumper spats (blended)
    [*:33ril006]Varis carbon fibre front spoiler
[*:33ril006]Touchscreen fold out Kenwood KVT-729DVD head unit (iPod/USB ready) and reversing camera (accompanying sat nav and bluetooth modules can be added but are not included in this sale)
[*:33ril006]Infinity Kappa front and rear speakers (standard BOSE subwoofer kept in place)
[*:33ril006]Uprated Whiteline and Super Pro bushes

The Japspeed K2 exhaust was chosen as it looks virtually identical to the standard exhaust from behind yet adds a slightly raspier tone through higher revs. At cruising speed there is no noticeable difference in sound. The NISMO/Varis body kit modifications help to emphasise the stunning shape of these cars and ensure even more head turning! The head unit and speakers were added to replace the frankly poor BOSE setup. The head unit adds support for iPod/iPhone/iTouch while the reversing camera makes parking the car so much easier. The uprated suspension bushes have helped to further improve the handling and the longevity of these common wear parts.

No expense has been spared to keep this car running smoothly. Viewing highly recommended. Test drives available on proof of insurance. No part exchange offers. Any questions please ask.

    £8,300 ono.

  15. I'll be selling mine next week, I 'think' it's the MotorDyne 5/16" Iso Thermal plenum spacer as I can't find the receipt! It's been on the car for 2 years and done around 15k miles. I'll let you know for sure once it's off the car and give you a price, but I thought I'd give you a heads up before buying a brand new one!
