i need front pads for me Z, when it was in for it's service nissan said they were 90% down and quoted £152.08 all in went to a good local independent and they want - £81.30 all in guess nissan won't be getting my money then

checked it today and all that seems wrong is that it's blowing from where the backbox is bolted to the rest of the system, the backbox itself seems fine damn lazy nissan wanting to replace the entire back box

had a feel round the pipes of the exhaust this afternoon and it is blowing round the join as described in the above link so i MAY not need a one after all gonna get me front brake pads replaced 2moro, at a local garage, will see if they can patch it up

nissan claim i need a new pump for the windscreen washer jets at £85 the rear and headlight washers work fine, do they work off the same pump tho ?

After a standard rear back box for a 350z (wot else),mines split and blowing need one asap as it's mot is due 23rd nov can anyone help would it fail it's mot if it's just blowing ????

had it's service today, the rear exhaust is cracked and blowing hence the noise nissan want £528.80 yes thats £528.80 just for the back box, hope it includes fitting n vat, they said do i want one ordering eeerrrr NO

not sure if it is coming from the back now it's going in for it's service n mot 2moro (wed) so will see they pick up on anything thx for the reply anyways

for about the last week or so i've noticed a whining/metallic/raspy 'super charger like sound' when i'm travelling along from around 2000-4000rpm, hear it more when in 2nd n 3rd gear. it does sound like it's coming more from the rear, it may be the silencer imploding , parked up revved the engine to 2000-4000rpm but don't get the same sounds, guess it coz it isn't under or summat any suggestions on what it might be ?

damn it was cold n wet this morning on ol'jawbreaker was good fun and got me free certificate to say i was one of the last to ride the corkscrew too had a few goes on all the other rides that were open as well, one tip tho don't go on rita (the queen of speed) when it's heavy rain mixed with what felt like ice crystals in it like getting acupuncture on ya face

not used my windscreen washer jets for a while, come to use them today and they don't spray at all the headlight and rear ones work fine. looked under the bonnet, lifted the left hand cover, saw which pipe goes to front washer jets, disconnected the pipe, blew down it and could hear bubbling water in the washer reservoir, then i thought i'd see if i could suck water back up the pipe, yup i can so my guess is either the motor as died or just a loose wire can anyone shed any light on it as it's due for it's MOT in a few weeks so would failure it
