Clips arrived from fleabay - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/322466910691 ever so slightly different, out of sight under the battery cover so no worries

Finally got a break in the weather, easy to get the panels off but how heavy and awkward to get the old battery out 🤬, weighs way more than the Bosch one and no handles either, anyways got the new one in easily, 3 clips broke when putting them back in as they were quite brittle so need to source those, also had to do the window reset, seems to start much better 😀

Sorry to drag up my old thread, looks like my battery is finally dying /dead, didn't drive it for about 3 weeks, battery was dead as a dodo, got the RAC out as I couldn't find the jump leads, they tested the battery and said it needed replacement, they wanted £154ish plus £80 for fitting, sod that.
would this be a suitable replacement as Google is giving conflicting answers -
If not this one can anyone recommend a decent cheap one ?

Forgot about these in my desk drawer, from the front alloy wheels from Zmanalex when I had my little bump the other year 🫣they wouldn't play nice with the rear ones that had been replaced with aftermarket ones so had them replaced, no idea how much life is left in them, if any, so free to a good home, just need a few quid to cover postage, so maybe a fiver

All insurance has gone up by around 30-40% in the last year, so honestly £1500 for a 24yr old isn’t too bad. Sounds like you’ve done your homework already, not much you can do now I’m afraid but suck up that cost
Mine has only gone up £19 this year, maybe it's because I'm getting on in years 🫢

Wow, didn't realised it had been this long, car was booked in last week for it's MOT, on the way there all the window washers stopped working, of course the pump had gone, had to wait till today to get it sorted as the part wasn't in stock and they couldn't source a 3rd party one all sorted now and hopefully should last another 9 years

Couldn't find a one way valve and doesn't seem to be listed on this parts website - https://www.nissanpartsdeal.com/parts/nissan-nozzle-assy-was~28931-1ea0a.html
any ideas on how to fix or am i looking at a new part

Thanks for the tip, will have a look this week
Think i may still have a one way valve somewhere from when i fixed the washers on my 350z

Haven't used my Z in a while took it for a long drive to recharge the battery, tried to clean the windscreen and the passenger washer jet doesn't work, the drivers side isn't that great either but at least i know the pump works, tried cleaning the hole with a pin but still no luck on the passenger side, tried to pull off the pipe to the jet but it feels like its gonna break the clips on the jet, does the pipe actually come off tho ?
if it needs new/used jets how much would they likely be and are they a easy fit ?
Cheers

mine is a 2014 (facelift) model and my lock failed a few years ago, got it replaced FREE via Nissan customer service, had to pay labour tho.

The supplier they were using said the lead time had changed to mid to back end of July luckily the tyre place managed to source another one but was £4 more so £220 lighter, it's all sorted and been fitted today, fingers crossed that's enough car bills for a while 🤞
Flat battery......
