IMO speeding doesn't cause crashes, its people not looking/not paying attention that causes crashes.

I know im going to get stick for this but people drive at high speeds on tracks safely cause everyone is paying attention to their surroundings but all of a sudden on the road speeding causes crashes? I don't think so.

In this crash it wasn't speed that causes the accident, it was the truck driver being careless.

P.s Im not promoting speeding, im merely saying that it often doesn't cause the crash!

Seen 04CUX on the M8 near Edinburgh today flashed and waved, dont know if they seen me as i was travelling in the opposite direction.

And when i was going to pick my car up from Nobles in Edinburgh (new windscreen ) i passed a silver zed with the plate that looked like STACY.

I work as a robotic engineer.....no not like the dancing robot kind, but similar to those who used to paint "picasso" in the Citroen advert only the machines we sell are to foundries,

When parts are cast using iron there is "flash" on the cast part and the machine we sell grinds that flash so you have your finished article which is then often shot blast.

We often get car parts in e.g VW, Merc, Audi, Garrett, DAF.

Thats what i do.

Test Drove a;

Lamborghini Gallardo Lp560-4 Pros- Lovely looking car, Gets lots constantly, sounds lovely, fast and handles well

Cons- Very uncomfortable to drive, i drove it for 30mins and had to get out, legs and back were incredibly painful, offset pedals made you ofter hit the accelerator instead of the brake, steering wheel set ridiculously high.

Audi R8 Pros- again stunning to look at, very fast, lovely interior

Cons- Felt like i was being totally ripped off paying that for an audi, again quite uncomforable, fast but nowhere near the GTR or the Lambo, the servicing costs and parts, the salesman telling me i needed to spend £115,000 on the v10 instead of the poor v8( his words not mine).

Thats what i weighed up when i looked at the 3 cars, and i now fully believe i made the correct descision .

Nope just fortunate we have had a fleet policy for a few years so it was a case of adding the GTR on as a personal car .

Test drove a few cars before getting the GTR and the R35 was hands down the winner the others quite disappointing infact its an amazing car to drive!.

A guy my cousin knows bought an Overfinch Range Rover from Bentley Glasgow, decided he didnt like the colour and sent it back and its now FERRARI RED and its as....

No No not at all, you were fairly giving it the berries yourself thought we were moving along at a nice pace until we got stuck behind that plank in the a6 .

Your car was lovely to look at as i was following it all in all a great day, good laugh, met nice people and had fun driving .

You can do a top speed run at Evlington Drag Strip - just outside York on a certain "run what ya brung" days... a damn site cheaper than £250 quid.

 

Just thought i'de mention it.

Thats all good and well but it would cost me more than £250 to get their and back plus have my runs plus the edinburgh one is for a charitable cause
