  1. Yeah I've been keeping my eye on this, and even went to the post office yesterday and made them stay after closing to try to tell me what's the issue. When we drop these parcesl off, we are prepaying the postage online and we retain a copy of the label/customs the post office for our files. I have this copy in my possession and I brought it with me yesterday. We use USPS ALL the time for international shipments, and have never had any issues - max time is always 10 days (though it's not a guaranteed service, it's still been reliable in the past). All the post office could suggest was that the parcel was missorted somewhere between their location and the airport, and as a result, caused delays. I'd expect it to be with you shortly though. I also contacted USPS's customer service # and asked them to run a trace, but was told it can take up to 23 working days (seems like an odd #!) to get a result...by which point you would surely have the parcel. I'll keep after it on my end as well.

  2. Aren't the standard (non-Rays) rims the same width all round?

Nope, all wheels that come on the cars from Nissan are staggered by at least 1"... Thats why you have the little screw thing on the front hubs to stop you from putting the rear wheels on the front!

no they aren't...at least not on US cars

all the tires are staggered, but some trim levels have the same width wheels all around

let us know what wheels you're after, as we're big dealers for 5Zigen

  3. I have looked all over for one but just can't find one in stock anywhere. Does anyone know where one of these mystical items can be found? They seem as rare as rocking horse poop! I've already called Envy Performance which is the only web supplier I can find and they've been waiting over 2 month.

    Thanks ya'all, Cookbot.

if its for the 2003-2006, it has been discontinued

I might be able to locate one however, as I think I know of a friend that has a bunch

  4. My clutch has been slipping over the last few weeks, progressively getting worse so that now it's almost impossible to accelerate without slip in any gear. Been to Nissan who want £700 to replace with stock! Also been looking at replacing with an Exedy kit through my usual garage.

1st issue for me is that a worn clutch plate's symptoms involve the rank smell, there's no smell at all with mine so a bit loathe to go for clutch replacement (only done 20k miles) if it is maybe an oil leak.

2nd issue is what type of Exedy clutch kit to go for if necessary? I def don't want anything that is hard work, I don't do track days and living in London involves constant gear changing, yes I know southern softie!

Any Exedy users recommend a kit and is Alex cheapest?

Exedy offers an OEM replacement clutch kit, or they also offer a Sport version, which has a stronger pressure plate compared to stock, to hold more torque. Both are quite easy to use, and will be direct replacements. I would avoid driving the car if the slipping is that severe, as you risk ruining the stock flywheel, which is extremely expensive to replace (it cannot be resurfaced as it's a dual mass unit).

  5. couple options - wheels only, tires you're best off sourcing locally, as it gets cumbersome to ship them from across the pond. All these are in stock and ready to go (prices are in $US)

Privat Reserv - 19x8, 19x9.5, forge silver with polished lip - 1 set in stock $1280 shipped to you for the set with lugs and hubcentric rings as well as center caps

    Talib Kwali - Quality

    Pearl Jam - Ten Redux

Rolling Stones - Shine a Light disk 2

  7. starting sizes will be 245/35/19 front, 275/35/19 rear

you'll find people running anywhere up to 275/30/19 front, and 305/30/19 rear

    my own car, 19x9, 19x10, I run 265/30/19 front, 285/30/19 rear

remember, the # on the sidewall really is inconsquential, it's about how much tire hits the ground (ie contact patch). Tires are like shirts - not all 275/30/19, for example, will share the same physical dimensions

  8. assuming it's the front inner control arm bushings - quite common for them to tear

you do not need to buy the whole arm...we can supply the Whiteline urethane bushings just for this...they are cheap as well! We also offer a full bearing version as well

    viewtopic.php?f=38&t=24617

Requires your shop to remove the arm, press the old bushes out, and press the new ones in. Not a long job at all. Given enough time, the bushings can totally split. The front end will get very noisy as a result, and steering will become extremely vague, bordering on unsafe

  9. it's best left as a paperweight - just like all their previous plenums

the plenum spacer is what is worth having on a pre 2006 car. On a 2006 model, the plenum spacer coupled with the 2003-2005 model year collector (the piece that sits between the upper plenum and the lower runners that go to the heads)

on an all out high rpm engine, the Cosworth is the piece to have, or something custom if you so desire
