Has anyone tried or would reccomend using this technique?

I have a lovel door rash pimple on my rear wheel arch!!

For those that aren't in the know, apparently the super cold temperaturs of the ice cause the metal to contract and hence the dent simply vanishes with no damege to the paintwork!

Anyone up for JTS? Great event last year.

Update:

MX5 finally recovered, just half a mile from home.

The fools didn't torch it so it should be covered in forensics, especially as I had just personally valeted the car in and out ready to sell!!!

Unfortunately had to come home to a house that was subsequently burgled the following night, ransacked from top to bottom and had the mazda mx5 stolen with all our xmas presents along with other desirable goods.

We will put this behind us and keep strong.

visited the dealer today and he echoed the thoughts about upping to a 4200 if I could.

Didn't realise it has the same engine as the Ferrari 430, more or less.

(430 obviously .1 of a litre bigger and enhanced con rods and pistons.)

Sounded awsome when started up and in sports mode!!!

do a search for "pentagon" tinting. Regarded as the best in the business, but like many companies will almost refuse to do front windows.

The GT-R isn't scheduled to hit the Japan market until this fall. Typically, it's 6-8 months before any other market gets the car. In the US, the GT-R is currently scheduled for release sometime in the spring of '08, and if Nissan holds true to form, you can tack a few months on that, so maybe summer of '08 for the US market. To my knowledge, dealers here haven't even started taking orders. My guess is they'll start taking orders in Jan '08 with an Aug '08 delivery.

 

I thought odd that Nissan-UK still lists the GT-R as a concept, but Nissan-USA lists it as a done deal. I wonder if your dealer is planning on importing the Japan spec before the UK release?

It has been said amongst the corridors of power at Nissan that they want to get the GTR released in Europe as quick as possible, hence the day out at Goodwood! So it shouldn't be the standard get it months after the North American and Japanese markets line that they normally follow.

How about just ordering a smaller narrower filter. much like the ones with the twin turbo

Get the car on a big open space, deselect the ESP and give it some!!

Preferably when the tyres are on theoir last 500 miles worth of tread so you don't mind cutting them in!!!!

Failing that....get some track time at any of the venues around the sountry.

If you are ona about the plastic duct I think you are on about....lever off the popper with a flat head screwdriver and the retainer comes off and the duct just slides off.

Its' and Ultima. Those two cars were the fastest on the day although the lambo got the highest terminal speed at 176 mph

SO what happened? Is that you on the line with the TVR? Did you win? I was very tempted to go to this as a lot of the TVR boys were giving it the big un on Piston Heads............I however....... decided that I like my clutch in one piece

Well I hadn't planned to run, just help out.

However my friend who was running the event and had his TVR Cerbera there asked me to give it a go...so I did.

Now I am about half a mile down the runway at 120 and I am red lining thinking what the hell is up...

then it dawned on me.....

how about changing up from fourth to fifth!!!!

Well it turned out to be an awsome day with some very powerful (and light) machines on disply, including the Auto car press car. A very nice yellow Lambo Murcielago!!!

A couple of tasters for you.

The only other jap cars were a GTR and an RX7.

I have found out to my expense that with the 06 model it is impossible to get the filter down inside the bumper on the CAI as the washer reservoir for the headlamps is in the way, so I have gone for the short ram version at the moment, but may revert back to stock as I reckon the filter will pick up more hot air when exposed. The sound is noticable when revving at stand still but not really once you are going.

Asthetically it looks lovely but is the HP compromise realy worth it?

In april, as sure as eggs are eggs, the tax will go up to £400.

Answer? Hand in your car tax in March, for a one moneth refund. The next day, go in and get 12 months tax at the 2006-07 rate before it goes up.

Save £100 straight off.....
