Hi mate I had this done to me with my Nokia phone, its a Nigerian scam, delete bids immediatly. They bidded on my phone for 650 quid was not worth 200, They then asked if I would send phone to Nigeria, as it is for their partner. They slowly get information from you, I.e Your full name and address through asking several questions via email and phone. they will say they will send you a cheque as proof they want to buy and will ask for your address. They will send you cheque but cheque will bounce. then they say they will do a bank transfer to save complication and ask for your sort code and account number which is harmless as appears on all your cheques, but then bingo... they have now enough information to withdraw large somes of crash from your bank. All they need is your full name billed address, bank details, and somehow the bastards can rip you off alot.

I learnt from this and did what one clever guy did and asked for pictures of them holding up signs to you. I got someone to send a picture holding up a card which I told them was a greek word for honest which was ****. and guess what the stupid idiot did it, does not solve the sale, but is bloody hilarious at their expense

Delete them and put at the bottom off your ad: not racist but please no Nigerian scam artists, your bids will not be tolerated. It will act as a deterant.

Car was found on its head, Driver was fine.

Okay, trying to get an avatar pic uploaded, but its got to be no more than 6kb. Try and adjusting it in photoshop but smallest I can get it to is 23kb. IF I go any smaller it comes up smaller than a pin head. What am i doing wrong????

Yeh I check them out they are from the states but dont think they will fit my car and dont think they will suit it as they have black surrounds and wont house xenon bulbs. Thanks for the search though

Yes I would also recommend trying the dealer first. If you don't have any luck with them, it may be worth going to an auto electrician just to check that it is the light unit that's faulty as it may be a poor earth caused by the condensation.

Cheers mate, Im not too bothered by the light its just the unit itself, wanna know if I can get my resealed of fixed or will I need a new unit

I'm sure somebody else said theirs were similar - Cant remember who now.

 

Dont think they faded prior to delivery. The colouring in each letter is too even.

DVLA suck

When I had to produce my licence at the police station they were going to take me to court as DVLA had no record of me having a drivers Licence. Turned out they hadnt update their system for a while and that if I had not of had the proof of my Licence I could of faced court and a £1000 fine.

Come to think of it the Home Office suck too

Paid out to have passport in 24hours, did I get it, nooooooooooo, they accidently sent to wrong address cos there system and a virus on it, and charged me an extra 150 quid to have it resent to my address, when I said to them its their fault , they said do i want the passport or not.

This Government Sucks ass

Need some advice, my 350z front hedlight passenger side has collected a lot of condensation and as a result my xenon lightbulb on the passenger side is not working. Not impressed

So i thought since it is just a headlight unit and lightbulb ill see how much a new one costs, called up Nissan and they quoted £750 for the one headunit and a xenon bulb £250 surely they are taking the

P!SS!!!!

As the car is still under warrenty I am taking it to a local dealer, but the only problem is, is that my car has a full body kit and the headlamp sticks out just a little, so if they see this they might say that the headlight unit has condensation cos of the bodykit (its a long shot but they could say it)

Hopefully they will cover it by warrenty but if they dont then Im screwed, cos I aint paying over a grand just for a new plastic head unit.

Any ideas what I can do? Does anyone know where I can get cheaper or can I get my existing one refurbed or sealed back and condensation taken out. I know I can get a new Xenon bult for 60 quid, but the unit I aint got a clue

It definitely needs wheels with a far more aggressive offset, at least 20" and with a polished lip. Super Rozzas would be perfect (if a bit heavy )!

Hi mate they are 20" Zennetis from the U.S. The back wheels are deep dish and all have been powder coated gunmetal with silver lip.

Sorry he said 2500 for his car and his mate who had an A3 tdi was black interior his is red as same material used in both. They done a deal as both went in same day.

I'm not really into modding that heavily but it certainly is an eye-catching and well done motor.

 

I do like the re-trim. I think it lifts the whole interior and looks very good quality. I know you didn't have it done but do you know who did it?

Just found out a company in Scotland who have recently moved to Birmingham done it, he is getting me contact details., they charged him £2500 for the seats and the doors to be fully retrimmed. They done it all in a day, he dropped car off in the morning and collected it in the evening, thats pretty darn quick

What about the sound system? You can see what looks like a lump of kit behind the seats.

Yeh, it has a 15inch sub in boot custom dash with Z embossed on it, I have an Alpine w200 head unit double din coming tuesday to fit in, It has alround Bose speakers, 2 amps in the boot and 6 cd changer. The alpine has Sat Nav as well and will be fixed so that it can play whilst car is in motion, as Madam demands it

Looks like the arch was shaved down so that the filler wouldn't need modifying.

Yeh i got them smoked at a garage, they charged me 20 quid to do both, really melts into the car and the police are fine with it as you can still see clearly the break lights. It is just a slight spray over. Got it done when I had the Nissan Badge removed.
