  1. Scotter, i should have said from the start clearly.

Welcome aboard from a fellow Lincolnshire owner. I'm just down the road from you, so if you need any help let me know. Saw a 350 in Scotter a year or so ago, but it seems to have disappeared now. You'll probably see mine passing through en route to Scunny Tescos every now and then (or hear it at least). Keep an eye out for WBA.

  2. Actually mate I've just had a txt from my trusty postie that its in the post this morning :D

Thats something I should have mentioned above-my air con button was missing (I thought it would be a quick ebay job...) and Lincolnbaggie had a spare gear surround with buttons, so he very kindly sent me the air con button for free. Top bloke, not bad for an albion fan ;) thanks again! :D

    That's good news

(Not talking about footie after the weekend  )

  3. I can vouch for Haydn's - bought one from him a while back. Good quality, and I managed 39.3 bhp improvement when dyno'd at RS Tuning

    Just don't get it wet

  4. Seriously? Theres me panicking thinking I better fill up! Had a load of tesco vouchers so wanted to brim it and was gutted at it stopping at 58 litres!

Does a fuel light come on at any point? If so how many litres will be left when this happens?

Yep, fuel light will come on when the DTE reads about 50 miles to go, but I've normally got at least 20 litres left in my tank when this happens

  5. Bleed in the normal way with a mate helping. If you have the brembo system the front calipers have two bleed nipples and have to be bled in the correct order (details on the forum somewhere if you have a search).

Maybe think about putting new fluid at the same time in if you don't know when it was last changed; should be changed every 2 years as a matter of routine.

  6. Yep, same as my old one. I'm not sure the button itself comes off, but I can do the three buttons on the mounting unit without the actual plastic gear lever surround if that helps. I'll PM you in the morning when I'm on the computer, bit difficult on the phone.

  7. Cheers guys.

Ill upload a picture later. Lincolnbaggie, did I meet you yesterday at zedfest?? Your reg end in wba? (Ps im a villa fan :p)

Yep, that was me. Could've brought it over yesterday if I'd known. As you're a villain the price has just gone up

  8. Is the import the same buttons as a Uk 53 car? I've got my old lower console in the garage somewhere with all three buttons on it. We might be able to do a deal?

  9. If you're down there Andy then give me a shout, I only live 20 mins away so I can pop down when ever.

Jell (James?) I've added you to a PM chain. Hoping to be there about midday Satdee, and again at somepoint on Sunday. I think Rothers, Ken and possibly Shire are coming over too from our way.

Might pop down Saturday myself to see you guys.

  10. Hi,

My oil light has just come on. Bit worried as it only had a service ~3000 miles ago in March.

Im going to go buy some oil, so how many litres should I put in ? (note. upto im aware upto dipstick level ;) )

    Thanks

Youve either got a leak or the garage bodged your service. I'd go back and have a word with them.....

  11. They're completely different tyres fella, not even close in terms of construction or tread pattern so I wouldn't mix.

What I would do is stump up for four new tyres, then chuck the other two up for sale to help make up the difference. :)

Thought you'd say that. Just got to decide on brand now. What is the difference between MPS2 and MPSS apart from a few hundred quid?

  12. Cant find super sports in my front sizes, only sport 2. Over 300 quid each for the rears as well! Seemed to do quite well in Wales on the Falkens (ask Graham) and they last ages on my car. I know the MPSS are great tyres, but £1100 on a 6 grand car seems overkill to me.

  13. Right, my turn to ask for advice Dan.

Currently running Falken 452s on all 4 corners; rears need replacing, fronts have got another 10, 000 miles in them. 452 now unavailable as replaced by 453, so what do I do - throw away good front tyres and spend a fortune on 4 new tyres, or assume the new falkens are pretty similar compound wise to the 452s?
