  1. They get funny if u say u use there products because they have licensed detailers which can use there products as a promotion of them self. Stupid i know but a few people have been taken to court over it
  2. Hi, thanks for the comments. For the polish i use menzerna products. I like the oils in these so u can work them for a long time. With reagrds to the paint cleanser and wax i don think i should say as some of these companies get a bit funny. lets just say there some of the higher end of the market waxes
  3. Thanks for the replies and messages. Black when it is clean is the best colour the reflections are amazing. I was a bit dissapointed i did not remove all the swirls but with the paint being a little thin for my liking i was not prepared to risk it. @Marting, thanks for the calendar its up on my wall at home, might even think about selling the audi and get one. Also i have Monday and Tuesday free if anyone is interested? Im sure i can work out a special price if anyone is about
  4. Thanks for the comments. As Martin says the camera does not really show it off to its full. Thats a samsung 2mp camera for you though. Imust remember my other one next time.
  5. Hi Martin im glad you were happy with the detail. Maybe get my hands your new beast at some point if u get it Here some pics but they are not very good as i forgot my camera and had to use my phone. Here is some befores: The car looked well but until the sun made came out and the swirls were evident. Here are some with the Before and afters: Before: After: Before: After: And here is some other after shots: Comments welcome
  6. No problem mate, but if u are stuck just give me a shout
  7. Thanks for the reccomendations peeps! I am based down South, but i am prepared to travel but cost will vary depending on distance. If u need any help let me know. Good luck mate
  8. Yeah that one of my best pics. The reflections of the bushes is kind of anrtistic. And Yep i do detail engine bays
  9. Hi i thought it would be a good idea to show some of the zeds i have detailed in the past. Some of the pics are not the best quality but would like to know what u think: More to follow i hope
  10. No electric buffer neede. Just apply then buff off straight away. Try not to let it dry as it can be a PITA to remove. Top it with a good wax aswell collinite 476s is very good on silver and has excellent durability, but i like the Chemical Guys 50/50 wax.
  11. Klasse all in one, is basically a chemical cleanser for your paint but it also has a hint of glazing oils and a little sealent. If u top this with a good wax then i guarantee u will be a lot happier. The wet look shine it achieves it top quality
  12. If all that is required is a general tidy up i will wash dry, then use the klasse. U have to apply then buff off before it dries as it can be a pain to get off. Then wax on top of that. Obviously though if paint correction etc is required its a lot more detailed than that.
  13. Try Klasse All in One its better than the Auotglym in my opinion and also does stage one and tf sone application. Surface prep is the key and the Klasse has very good chemical cleansers in it aswell as a little glaze and sealent.Top that with a good wax which chemical guys 50/50 is probably the best value for money then u are looking at a mint looking car.
  14. I have heard mixed reviews on the diamondbrite products. Until i use them myslef i cant really comment.
  15. SRP is a great product. It also hides some swirls by filling them.I know of a few detailers that swear by it and always try to iclude it in there details.
  16. At the moment there does not seem to be a lot of interest. Maybe go for a demonstration day? My idea behind this being again a BBQ etc but have one or two cars having the works including swirl removal. This then can show the before and afters What do u think?
  17. Personally i dont like the Autoglym products. The only product i like is the super resin polish which is underated IMO. A wax thats very good for durability and also provides great results then go for Collinite 476 wax or CG 50/50 Wax from www.carwashnwax.co.uk The 50/50 irally rate as high as a lot of the premium waxes
  18. I bet thats a hard colour to keep clean though. Looks nice and clean in your sig pic, do u clean it often?
  19. Yeah pay me Custardville seems like a nice place. @sarnie i have seen a lot worse than that mate. Although not on Yellow:)
  20. I understand mate, detailing really come into its own when you have to remove swirls etc. The reason for doing it this way was to get more people to gether really. So far not generated much interest, so we may well change to your way of thinking.
  21. Sounds like a plan. Can u girantee the wads of cash?
  22. Hello Sarnie, only just noticed u over here. Seems your a regular though by your post count. When am i going to get my hands on that yellow beast?
