  1. I usually takes me on my own around 3 Hours. Im hopping that there will be two of use there bringing it down to about 2 hours. It will be pushing it to do 13 but we are up for the challenge:)
  2. Hi peeps i know are a lot of members down here in the sunny south east. Therefor i am gauging interest in a summer meet. My idea is to hire a premises where i can detail cars and also where we can have a bbq and a few drinks etc. The more cars i can detail in a day the cheaper the cost per car. I think i can detail about 6-7 cars per day (standard detail) Obviously to make the meet a bit more successful other members are more than welcome to attend. Im hoping we can get about 20 zeds together where u can see what i can do, and also so i can help u in maintaining your cars by offering any advice. I would be looking at doing this over 2 days so thats 13 spaces at an average cost of 70GBP per car. So what do u think? Any ideas and so on of where this can be held? Anybody want to make the first booking? Thanks for reading
  3. Ill wait with anticipation.Hope its not to good you will be nicking all my business Need any help mate just give me a shout

  5. Cheers mate. Anyone else u know of that u could persuade? I got 3 confirmed people now, i was hoping for 5-6? Hopefully we will get there.
  6. As in a previous post im hopefully going to be taking a trip up to Liverpool for a detailing week. The date im lookng at is the 23rd of April to the 29th. So basically is any interest from here? I looking at doing about 7-8 cars, but i already have 4 interested so limited space up for grabs. Thanks
  7. Ok mate what kit u going for the nismo one?
  8. If you use mine as an examle for free then by all means. Plus im in Hertfordshire so not too far from you buddy. How about a nice discount
  9. So, whos going to be first to let me work on there zed then
  10. The klasse all in one has a little glazing oil aswell as some sealent and cleansers. It saves so much time without comprimising the finish. I would advise this then topping with a good wax. If u wanted to go stage by stage then i would us the Chemical Guys glaze and the m-seal from www.carwashnwax.co.uk
  11. Scratch x is a good product. Glad u got most of it out mate, thats one advantage to having soft paint.
  12. What do u use mate to get the scratch out? General rule is if u cant feel it with the finger nail then it will buff out, which must be in your case as u have got most of it out. Get some pics up mate when your done
  13. The gunmetal grey in my opinion will not give as reflective finish as the darker colours. Having said that it certainly gives a nice slick finish. The curves on the zed certainly help
  14. Looks great mate Auotglym is great stuff one of the most underated. The super resin polish is very good. But Honestly i rate the Klasse all in one as a must have product. U can even just add a wax after the all in one if u want and im sure u will be very happy with the results. Also chemical guys 50/50 wax is an amazing product especially for the money. Up there with some of the very expensive and exclusive waxs
  15. If your working by hand i always use Klasse All In One. This is great chemical cleanser and also adds a little glaze and sealent. Top that with klasse sealent glaze and then top that with chemical guys 50/50 wax from the link above. Both Klasse products are available from motorgeek.co.uk Just gald i can help mate:)
  16. A pure glaze try the mguiars pro range number 7.Ill try and find a link for you. Products i really reccomend try www.carwashnwax.co.uk Not to expensive but all the products are brilliant.
  17. Basically multi stage paint correction is different stages of polishing to remove swirl marks and surface scratches. Each polish is abbrassive but some are more so than others. Working them together in the right way will remove the defects. Further to this a pure glaze is layered to add oils into the paint and therefor achieve the wet look finish. Sealent for protection and a little extra shine and the carnauba wax mainly for protection but some wax's can enhance the shine even futher.
  18. I know how your mate feels. I had my cruciate reconstructed on the 21st November. Just started driving and starting working ASAP.
  19. Standard= Bodywork washed and dried, cleansed sealed waxed, tires+trim dressed Advanced=As above but with clay bar treatment included plus different wax Tailored Detail= Same as Advanced but multi stage paint correction included. Little more info on the site http://www.sparkle-car-care.com/index.php?categoryid=8 Hope that helps mate
  20. Hi mate just sent u a pm regarding your message. Bird etchings are normally not a problem to remove. Paint correction also involves swirl removal and surface scratches being removed. This leaves the perfect base for the glazes sealents and carnauba wax's to do there bit.
  21. Thanks mate. Ill see if i can get some pics of the previous zeds i have done and post them up here for a few examples. Cheers
  22. Ok mate well prices will vary depending on numbers up there but as a rough guide it will be: Standard detail 100GBP Advanced Detail, 150GBP Tailored including paint correction it will be, 235GBP As i said these are subject to change. What do u think?
  23. Hi mate i am based around the sevenoaks area, although as i said i will travel, and also i may be coming up North around the end of March for detailing week or so. To answer a few questions, i do have a PTG, which measures the thickness of the paint. I dont take the wheels off mainly due to the fact that if u were to have a crash due to incorrect fitting of wheels etc then i would be liable. I dont have any before and afters pics as yet although i do have after pics of a zed i done a few months back. Take a look in the gallery on www.sparkle-car-care.com Thanks
