No harm in having a negative opinion for balance.....but there is a Fairlady in white near me that looks bloody horrible in my opinion.
Not helped by the local taxis all being white too so...
-
No probs. No-one else made it either so I *gasp* went up in my fiancee's Smart car.
-
Thanks for the tips guys, I will investigate further and see how it all goes.

Ok I am a total complete and utter novice when it comes to replacing my (skipping and annoying) Bose head unit so I need a few pointers and words of wisdom.
Is the Bose unit easy to remove and what tool do I need to do so? I assume with the right tool I can just slot it out and bin it, or burn it then bin it.
Do I then need to look for anything in particular in the replacement unit to be able to connect up the speakers, the subwoofer behind my seat and the steering wheel controls (all standard GT pack affairs)?
I will be looking to replace it with a USB-capable unit as I have my CD's ripped to my PC already. So single CD is fine, don't need anything particularly advanced. Still on a budget due to my impending wedding in May and my loft conversion which is proceeding well
Thanks all!

Recently (in the last few weeks) had a new set of Falken's fitted and they are excellent compared to my Bridgestones. But they are brand new so I would hope to see an improvement!
Certainly seems to have more grip, with a noticeable improvement on damp/greasy roads.
Under £420 for the set (Front 225/45 R18 and Rear 245/45 R18) fitted at a local garage, all arranged through blackcircles.com
-
Next meet is a week today, so thats the 17th Feb if that's any good for people.
Are my new Falkens better than the default Bridgestones? Oh yes indeed they are
£420 for all four, fully fitted via blackcircles.com, fitted at a garage in town, great service.
-
Sorry for the short notice, but there is another meet (of little Smarts) on Sunday 3rd Feb, usual time, if anyone is interested
I will be there in my Zed of course, hopefully with new Falkens on if they arrive in time.

I think people want to be able to drive up and know their cars are safe, hence Liverpool is now off the list.
You need to come to Worthing in West Sussex. Few here know what cars are, and they are of the generation that still expect to see a man with a warning flag walking in front of you when you drive....
-
I would go but I am a bit skint this year:
1. Getting married costing about £12,000 all told
2. Having a loft conversion put in costing £24,000
Have a great time and post some pics!

Nice to see you guys today, weather held up fine and I stuffed my face with a huge breakfast. AND my fiancee paid for it too
-
probably
I expect a candle in a fried egg..
.. hope the weather is OK for sunday or I will stay at home
If we arrive early enough we can sit inside in the warm (sort of) and dry (as a bone)

Anyone else coming to this?? I have a local friend who has just got a Smart and is going so I will be heading down for some brekkie!
Nice one! Thats the two clubs truely linked up now hehe.
One of the Smart Roadster guys said he was getting there early so we had nowhere to park. So I said I will simply park on top of his silly little car
-
Whoops!!!Really sorry guys
Going to be at Cowfold on Sunday 13th Jan from 09:30am with some of the Smart guys (in my Zed if you are coming along, obviously!)
-
Sorry guys, been really busy and away from the forums. Did you meet up and enjoy breakfast?
-
Next South East Meet Sun Oct 28th 09:30am onwards. Earlier you get there, the greater chance you can sit down (and indoors if its raining hehe).
-
Have to agree that this is a great promotional vehicle for a small business.
There's at least one in Worthing for a small business and I have to say it looks great. Better than a typical boring Astra van or something similar to that!!
-
I would have stopped, not necessarily to have helped directly, but you were a witness of sorts so may have helped with the investigation etc.
-
Sorry guys, i'm not going to make it this time, have simply got way too much on and i'm not 100% at the moment either. Have a good one chaps.
Get well soon buddy, see you at the next one hopefully
-
Going to head straight to Cowfold so see you guys there.
-
I am going to be there At Cowfold.....not meeting at Pease Pottage. Although I could, just to join the convoy of Zeds
-
Next meeting at Cowfold is 7th October 09:30 onwards if anyone is interested

All I would say is that when my girlfriend heard my car pull away from one of our South East meets she thought it sounded great.
And then Andy "June 2008" pulled away in his ridiculous car and she changed her mind, saying HIS one sounded great
So whatever you do, get rid of the standard one and you will get my girlfriend. Oh no, hang on, that's not right.
