  1. I still can't work out which exhaust I want to put on my Z. I keep thinking of going for the Nismo for the 'safety' factor knowing it wont disappoint but can't help want to try something else. Need to hear some of them I guess. Anyone for Phils on saturday with an exhaust I can listen to? :p

All I would say is that when my girlfriend heard my car pull away from one of our South East meets she thought it sounded great.

And then Andy "June 2008" pulled away in his ridiculous ;) car and she changed her mind, saying HIS one sounded great

So whatever you do, get rid of the standard one and you will get my girlfriend. Oh no, hang on, that's not right.

  2. No harm in having a negative opinion for balance.....but there is a Fairlady in white near me that looks bloody horrible in my opinion.

Not helped by the local taxis all being white too so...

  3. Ok I am a total complete and utter novice when it comes to replacing my (skipping and annoying) Bose head unit so I need a few pointers and words of wisdom.

Is the Bose unit easy to remove and what tool do I need to do so? I assume with the right tool I can just slot it out and bin it, or burn it then bin it.

Do I then need to look for anything in particular in the replacement unit to be able to connect up the speakers, the subwoofer behind my seat and the steering wheel controls (all standard GT pack affairs)?

I will be looking to replace it with a USB-capable unit as I have my CD's ripped to my PC already. So single CD is fine, don't need anything particularly advanced. Still on a budget due to my impending wedding in May :scare: and my loft conversion which is proceeding well :yahoo:

    Thanks all!

  4. Recently (in the last few weeks) had a new set of Falken's fitted and they are excellent compared to my Bridgestones. But they are brand new so I would hope to see an improvement!

Certainly seems to have more grip, with a noticeable improvement on damp/greasy roads.

Under £420 for the set (Front 225/45 R18 and Rear 245/45 R18) fitted at a local garage, all arranged through blackcircles.com

  5. Have to agree that this is a great promotional vehicle for a small business.

There's at least one in Worthing for a small business and I have to say it looks great. Better than a typical boring Astra van or something similar to that!!
