  1. Hi folks, Sorry i've been a while replying, you know how it is! Sinbad, sorry i dont have any pics of it unfortunately, although im sure some of the people on here would send you a pic of the cover in situe if your not sure what to expect. And im sure, as M13KYF says, there will be an easy way of fixing the top two brackets. Just need to get rid of it from the garage, no use to me now since ive sold my Z.
  2. Hi folks, The Z is sold so now selling the Tonneau cover which was bought for it 4 months ago. Kit is in brand new condition, only thing is, there are meant to be 2x small rubber grommet type pieces to push into the holes for the top brackets to fix to the rear strut bar, but i forgot to remove these before selling the car, doh! So im not sure if it will fix via the top brackets, but im sure youd be able to put a nut/washer in place of the rubber grommets perhaps? Anyway, apart from that, the whole lot is as new and would take £30 for it delivered. If anyones interested please pm me and ill get in touch asap.
  3. Cant believe no interest in this.............
  4. Hi folks, I found this the other day in the garage and to be honest i had forgotten that i even had it! Filter is new and unused, as just after buying it i fitted a typhoon kit instead. In all original packaging etc Z has been sold, hence this being up for sale! £20 delivered to anywhere in the UK. email me at johnd_stephen@hotmail.com if interested, as im not often on the site John
  5. First offer of £100 plus £10 postage secures. Come on guys it is just as brand new!!
  6. Got this one. The drive does slope a little so shows the car a few millimetres lower, but then again the springs had only just been put on the day before so may settle a bit. Kev, Where did you get your Ti2000's from?? Been trying to get in touch with RSR direct to get a shipping quote for weeks, but still no reply
  7. I had it on ebay twice starting for that money, and not even a watcher! That seems to be a very low price
  8. No replys!!?? tut tut! Ok Am willing to accept sensible offers if anyone is interested??
  9. Selling my Typhoon kit which was only fitted to car for two weeks., i have decided to revert back to standard and to free up some funds for other projects in the pipeline Aluminium piping is blue, kit is just as brand new with all original fittings and hardware/instructions. In original packaging etc Very easy to fit - 2 hrs it took me first time. PM me, or maybe be better to email me at johnd_stephen@hotmail.com if your interested. Jobo
  10. Might be worth a purchase, not too expensive from what ive seen. I think 15mm each side woud be about the max if thinking about lowering the car, although would 10mm be a safer option?
  11. Has anyone used wheel spacers on the standard wheels to make them fill the arches a bit better, maybe around 10-15mm each side?? Was just thinking about it and thought it might be a worthwhile styling mod, rather than spend silly amounts on a set of wheels?? Whats everyones thoughts?

    Pics Of Tinting?

I think it must be being they let 35% light into the car as apposed to being a 35% grade tint, because as far as i know the 50% tint ive been quoted for is a 50% light internal reading, not the darkness of tint, know what i mean because ive lost myself hehe

    Pics Of Tinting?

Haha, thats a tricky one! Yep, going for all round tint, want to keep my car as subtle/factory like as possible, so i think the 50% should just hit the spot How much is a reasonably price? The guy quoted me £300, but managed to screw him down to £250. I know they do a great job because i have had a car done by them before, but is this expensive compared to what people have paid??

  18. Yeh like lomoto said, just a few drops of coolent loss and just use the original clamps It is quite a bit louder now, i thought it was the typhoon so i took it off today and fitted the stock airbox etc again, but the extra noise is definitely produced by the plenum! Lomoto, is there any kind of a whine coming from your car now? Ive noticed that there is a definitive whine when under slight accelarion, ie town driving, comes and goes under light acceleration/coasting? I checked all the bolts today just to make sure it was a 100% seal and they are fine. Am i just being paranoid??!

    Pics Of Tinting?

Ive finally got my car booked in for some window tints. Nothing over the top, but i think a very light tint would complement My Black Z. Has anyone got any pics of their tints? Thanks!
  20. Doesnt look like they'll be getting purchased In a 19" only available offset is 35 mm and we dont want to be looking like a train do we! Oh Poo...... anyone got any other suggestions or places to buy staggered wheels??
  21. Hmm not so sure, dont want to be too loud thats my problem!
  22. Aye aye, you wont hide that space saver!!
  23. Hi Guys, Finally got my V+ Plenum yesterday from Kinetix and got it fitted this morning. It was pretty straight forward to fit and pretty self explanatory, although i followed the instructions exactly, just to be sure! Only real problem i had was that the throttle body, when fitted to the V+, sits at a slightly different angle than it does on the standard plenum, and i had to make a small aluminium bracket to fit from the engine mounting point to the intake tube on my typhoon kit. I presume if using the standard plastic intake tube you wouldnt have this problem and there would be enough flex in the corrogated section?? Anyway, the Typhoon has been fitted for a couple of weeks now, and unless you rev the car over 4k revs, you dont really notice the kit is there! Now, however, it has a very 'throaty' sound, even at low revs ie, in town driving pulling away from lights etc. Overall very pleased with piece of kit and service, as for the gains which Kinetix claim, well im not sure, but its always far too easy just to think its giving the car more power just with the noise it produces.
  24. Yeh, normally thats my opinion too, but for some reason i think itd be worth it when they were clean in the summer days and nights... hmmmm
