  1. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NISSAN-350Z-ALLOY ... dZViewItem saw these and i fell in love , they are only a ten minute drive away , so i went to look at them in the flesh BEWARE - they look very cheap up close, the surface finish is a bit rough also - tyres are excellent though!
  2. that is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo freaky!!!!! on the way home from work today i was realising the same thing!!!! it was just spitting with rain and i wanted the intermittant setting and i was convinced it was broken as it wouldn't move , even on the "quickest" setting , i then realised that the dial was back to front aswell - another nissan oversight eh!!!

  8. let the missus drive and YOU sit it the passanger seat-that way it will be a fair comparison Did i say let the missus drive :scare::scare:
  9. it has a thermostat that cuts out the heat if it gets too hot before it melts the seats however i never noticed mine getting distinctively cold before heating up again. try the passenger side as they are two separare circuits to see if there is any difference
  10. glad to see you enjoying the car RE rear view mirror, ive never noticed mine vibrate at any speed-
  11. well i went to 2 nissan dealers this morning , west way birmingham knew nothing about it, one guy said it was only a concept and prob wouldn't be built but i chose not to believe him and went to west way coventry , there was a guy there who seemed quite clued up about 350z and gtr having previously owned an R32 he sat me down and pointed me at this official nissan website http://www.nissanusa.com/09gt-r/ he then said that the z was released in usa august 2002 , and in the uk in oct 2003 , going by these dates as a guide he predicted that it will be released mid 2009 he said his dealership havn't recieved any info from nissan gb yet
  12. how did you attatch it on? sorry to be a pain but do you have any picks from a little furthur back thanks
  13. ok look like those who have one fitted have no problems, what about warranty ive still got 18 months left and dont want to bodge it up
  14. i think the fact that some people thinks it looks ugly is perfect !!!!!!! means that most people would not want to spend 50k on it and get an M or an AMG instead
  15. enzo is about 7;30 i think right thats it , after finding out today that my salary will double from jan and watching that video i am going to nissan tomorow to see how soon i can preorder that beast !!!!!!!!!
  16. reverse thing happened across the pond i lived in ireland from 2000 till mid 2006 , they changed all the mph speed limits to kph to be inline with the rest of europe (Stoopid idea) funny thing was they just had the limit number not the units so in residential area you would see a red circle with 50 in the middle -thats it -fair to say the whole country was speeding , limits on the motorway said 110- i got stopped by the local gards doing 105mph and insisted that i thought that i was safely below the advertised limit - and i got away with it!!!!! i told him i had just moved to ireland and i thought it was like the autobahn little did he know that id been there for years!!!
  17. congrats on the new car 1st to second from cold is always a bit clunky but it smooths out the rest of the changes should be fairly smooth it may sound simple but make sure you have fully pressed down the clutch pedal before changing the pedal some people on here have said that their 4yh to 6th is very crunchy-but thats my smoothest one it maynot be a clicking axle , when i bought mine it would click on heavy acceleration and breaking, it turned out to be the locking nuts rolling about the the lock box!!!!, take all manuals etc. out of all the rear compartments, ensure all the tools and tyres in the back are secure , and try again -the sound may go
  18. ok , after reading some posts on here its fair to say that this mod will offer no performance gain, just a better intake sound -thats fine. however, ive read on the forums in america that the jwt effectively sucks hot air in from the engine bay as oppose to cold air like the stock one does- after looking at the designs of the two this would seem like a fair comment. there have also been reports of manual cars stalling on the motorway in america when they have gone into neutral with the jwt intake going into neutral on the motorway is just silly , i would never do that but the fact is that the stock intake does provide colder air, so by changing the intake you are handicapping ever so slightly any furthur input would be appreciated also if i ever do decide to get one where is the cheapest mynismo.com ?
  19. thanks for the comments , yeah i was surprised by the time ,i did it quicker than i thought no , no hose pipe ban in brum! looks like a higher quality wax is whats missing from my routine, ill remember it for the next cleaning (ill try to do one more before xmas!!!!!!!)
