I think you misunderstood me. Come to think of it, I just put a really weird sentence there
I m talking about "what car to get next". I'm not the kind of person to have a 30 page thread about "should I get car X or Y". I ll figure that one out myself
And I have no secrets for the tax office.
Close the door on your way out...............
you 2 never got on
Guess it comes from one side then.
Never have/had a problem with him

When all is said, it comes down to where you place that balance. Personally I prefer to have a nice GT car that is quick and poised on the road and can also be tracked the once or twice I might make it to a track in a year. I also cant have an extra track car as I dont have the space. I would love to have an oil burner to run around in and a 7 (and very nearly did that before getting the Zed) but I dont have the space and I would be driving to work in a boring car and always feeling that if I had the Zed I would be having more fun more of the time. Its all about reaching your ideal balance
So why havent you considered a Cossie?

£123
A DAY?
Are you commuting from Paris?
-
Ok, but i know nobody who pays £10 day for parking space at/near his workplace. Thats about £200 a month! You d be better of staying at home
Its like saying 'my daily drive is a Ferrari so it is cheaper to go to work with a motorbike...'
-
Looking to buy a bike to make the commute a bit quicker and a hell of a lot cheaper,
Dunno if anyone said it in the thread, but bike to work:
Quicker? Hell yeah!
Cheaper? Hell no!

Used to hate getting home after a night out clubbing, stinking of disgusting smoker smell, really took the shine of a good night out.
I agree,
eyes irritating, sometimes getting irritated throat etc etc.
Hopefully they find the guts to ban smoking in pubs overhere too, right now its only restaurants.

Hey
Who was it that had that sig picture which made fun of those high-revving vtec engines? I would like to get my hands on that one
-
I use Virosol. Diluted, 1 part of Virosol and 3-4 parts of water. Spray it on the wheels and use a brush to clean the wheel, then spray off with water, works like a charm.
-
Dunno if its the same in your country, but in Europe it is becoming quite hard to get a cheap car which is reliable (and by cheap i mean £3K or less) because they all get bought for export.
-
It uses a Gixxer thou (Suzuki GSX-R 1000) engine which is midly tuned to produce around 170 bhp. The gross weight of the car is 320 Kgs and with me being a fly-weight of around 65 Kgs, the power-to-weight is pretty impressive.
Trev,
I know someone who could re-map the Gixxer engine for a lot more power. Pm me if interested. One of his customers has 221 bhp at the rear wheel of his bike...
With a remap?
That is impossible without changing a lot of engine internals

Went to the wiesmann dealer today. Delivery time is about 6 months, and apparently they are rock-solid (for all the cars he sold there are none with issues whatsoever, that would be about 15 roadsters and 5 coupés). They dont come cheap and they hold their value like crazy (they are selling a used one with 4000 miles on the clock, built 02/2007 for 3.5% cheaper than list price for a new one
).
Gonna check out financing and leasing on those beasts... who knows
-
I want one even more now.............one day.......
Tell me about it.
But one has to get motivation somewhere to work extra hours
-
But, does anyone know how reliable these are?
I mean, you can easily find someone who owned a Lotus and ask him about issues, same for a TVR, but i cannot find any forum on the internet, or club of Wiesmann owners.
-
I wonder if they'll drop the BMW S54 block for the new V8 lump (S65)? Awesome cars, great interior! Love that retro look, just like the Spyker's.
If you talk about the new M3 block? I doubt it. The roadster is too small to fit the V8 block imho, they would have to design a new car for it, and since they already have a V8 in the MF4 (which will appear in roadster too) and the M5 engine in the MF5 (which will apparently also be built in roadster) i dont think they will bother, considering the fact it already took them 1.5 years of lobbying to get their hands on the M5 engine.
-
o yeah, and i took all the pics with my iPhone. I must say i am impressed by the quality of the camera.
-
I visited the wiesmann factory last weekend.
Because there are a lot of pics and i am not gonna repost them all again, here is the link to a topic on another forum where i already put the pics.
Enjoy

TVR
in Other Cars
dont have EVO overhere, what does it say?
-
TVR
in Other Cars
Prefer the one without the spoiler
But as I said, if you want a new one we are talking about 150.000€
Even second hand it stays a quite expensive piece of kit. You can buy 2 Z4M coupés for that price
Thats why i started about TVR, its a bit less silly price-wise (that is, if you park it in your house just to look at it
