  2. Thanks guys - these are now sold
  3. Well, as I've said, I'm open to offers so we'll see.
  4. Usually 1,200 for nearly new on ebay... as far as I can tell.
  5. Getting my 19" nismos fitted tomorrow so now have available for sale my 4 x 18" RAYS with Bridgestone tyres. They are 6 weeks old and have covered only 2,000 miles and are totally immaculate - no scuffs or marks or dirt! The tyres are included and again are almost new. Not sure about shipping costs, probably collection is easier, I'm in Basingstoke, but would also be happy to drop them off to you if you're reasonably local. If you need them shipped I can find out costs. Looking for offers in excess of £1,000. Will post pictures tomorrow! Thanks Matt
  6. Yes, that was a learner in the tunnel... could you imagine being greeted by that on your first lesson or worse your test
  7. I am struggling to get used to pushing it up for a single sweep and progressively down for intermit/slow/fast. On all my previous cars it's been the other way round!! lol. There is an answer I've found though - RAINEX - it's brilliant
  8. Blue Peter and sticky back plastic comes to mind
  9. probably get some early release scheme too and be out in 4!... they banned him from driving too... but we all know what that means too! Do they really believe that he'll stop driving just because they've taken his bit of paper away!
  10. this was on Road Wars last Monday night on Sky 2 - the bike cop was ok in the end... the car driver got 19 months I think for various motorin offences!
  11. Oh I much prefer the more expensive, smaller southern houses with HUGE mortgages!
  12. They would be a good idea - the airbag stickers are AWFUL! It's in the manual - why do they think we need to see a HUGE sign there all the time... ARGH! I'm in a bad mood now LOL
  13. Sure you've not been eatin too many pies and it just appears that you're closer LOL... only joking, strange one this... Matt
  14. As clark354uk said, tell agent A that agent B offered 1.3, then go to the agent B and tell 'em agent A offered 1.2... I'd aim for not more than 1.5, you should easily get 1.3. Never heard of anything less than 1% though
  15. Do they do a version of that engine for the Z?
  16. For anyone that was interested in the nismo kit without the rear spoiler, I found this video (nice sounding Nismo exhaust too)... Doesn't look too bad:yahoo:

    Help!

personally, no my neck or head has never touched the headrest when driving normally. You should position the headrest directly behind your head ( i think the top of it should be in line with the top of you head), it should stop you getting whiplash in a crash!
  18. oh, shame... I love the front and sides, but I think the spoiler's just a bit big...
  19. oh, can I ask for the opposite too Nismo kit except the rear spoiler!

    Help!

Hi mate... I'm really surprised anybody would dislike this car. I've had mine 4 weeks now and it's the best car I've ever owned! I had a Mk 4 golf GTi a while back and there is no comparison in comfort... the seats hold you nice and firm in my opinion and the golf won't touch the Z from a performance perspective... there's no getting away that the Z is a proper sports car, the golf GTi is a hatchback with spoilers and big alloy wheels. Do you have a pre-existing back condition? I'm 6'2" and sure my head is close to the roof, but it's pretty roomy for a sports car. Have you used the up/down adjusters on the seat - I found it took me a while to get everything set right for myself, but now that's done I find it very comfortable. Last week I took it on long drives to Sheffield and Coventry (twice) from Basingstoke and can honestly say I didn't feel the slightest bit tired or stiff (and I used to feel both of those in my previous Saab!). I agree that it doesn't like 1st gear much in traffic, but get it into second quick and it's fine. Odd that you find the clutch heavy - mine is not a problem, neither is the gear shift. Maybe you should take it back to the dealer and get them to check these things out!
  21. thanks guys... as having only just got my Z (and paying extra for the GT and 'bose') I'm not immediately looking to upgrade the stereo... perhaps in the future but I do like the look of the alpine stuff - perhaps by the time i'm ready the bluetooth module will be sorted...
  22. With the alpine kit, is there a way to link up your mobile phone (pref bluetooth) and still use the steering wheel controls?
  23. Will probably pop along to the next one on 17th October... never been to a meet before, but just got my Z and would like to see what these things are like...
