Managed to get around to changing my Nissan badges for the Z ones I bought.
I decided not to put the Z badges on the rear as I thought it looked better without and the badges that I bought wasn't the same size for the back. Roadster seems to have a smaller and flatter badge on the back than the front.
If anyone is looking for a Z badge for the back of their coupe let me know and I'll send it to you as long as you post your picture once done on the forum so we can all see the results.

It wasn't a gun metal on late Saturday night was it (11:30 ish)?
I'm pretty sure it was a silver and was definately Sunday night.

Definately up for a southern meet. Just let me know when and where to be! Any excuse to get out and about in my new car!

M1 Southbound. Think it was about Luton he passed me and then followed eachother down to M25 where we went our seperate ways.

Loving it!
Had a really good weekend driving about and even managed a quick trip to Northampton night to show off to a friend.
Was a little disapointed though, it would seam that when the roof is down they have limited it to 135mph (I know I should be taking it easy but just couldn't resist). Will need to check the manual to see if that is correct anyone know?
Will need to try it again with the roof up just to see if it will go any faster or if they have limited the roadster to 135mph permanently. Held the road beautifully though and could still hear my friend scream even will the roof down.......

Picked up my brand new Roadster today!
Absolutely love it and the sound of that exhaust.......Fantastic! Trying really hard to not rev the s**t out of it but the exhaust really starts to sound good at 3500-4000 rpm and it's hard not to just keep you're foot down.

check for the BT adapter inside the car will you?
Yeah Roadster don't come with one but I will ask the question and see if they have an 06 Coupe sitting around that I can have a look at. The dealer ,(Russell) that I am dealing with, has also bought an 06 Coupe for himself so he'll definatley know if the coupe has it as standard or still as an option.
Congratulations mate for the first serious post of the day.... Apologies my friend
I'm just astonished that you could even suggest that the interior of that THING on ebay is anything other than disgusting! ( http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic ... highlight= )

Wonder why it's a one off interior - Certainly not for me.

Can't believe you actually looked at the key. When the guy handed over the key for my test drive I just grabbed it and almost ran out the door, popped it in the ignition and drove off.
My advise:- Spend more time admiring the car and you'll soon forget about the key!
P.S.

Hi again George,
You must be like a kid waiting for Xmas at the moment..... only a day to go mate!
Hope you get some cracking weather this weekend and can put the top down. Get some pics taken and let us see her!
Have you paintshielded it yet??
Can't wait to pick it up. Will make sure I do spend some time taking photos for it rather than just driving it.
Haven't done anything about paintshield yet but am certainly going to give them a call and see how much it would be.

Just a quick update. Dealer call me today and told me that my car arrived this morning (2 days early). Getting the pre-delivery checks and parking sensors fitted today and tomorrow, all ready for collection on Friday at 2pm.
I'll post pictures on Friday night if I can drag myself away from it.
Anyone got any pointers for running in the car? I understand that you should keep it below 4000rpm and treat it nice for the first 1000 miles or so. Anything else I should or shouldn't be doing?
Grinning widely
Don't think that will be a problem!

Can't wait to see that on the road! Althought that will be really rare and would have thought most of them will spend their life in the garage. Should sound pretty good to if it's got an engine from the Maserati Coupe! Real pitty about the price tag! Maybe in 10 years once the depreciation has really kicked in!
-
it's an Alfa Romeo concept IIRC doubt it'll ever be made
Nice car! Pitty it will constantly break down or else the enine will just blow up being an Alfa.

Just saw this picture on the internet somewhere and didn't have a clue what car it is. Looks a little like a TVR but I don't think it is.
Anyone know?
-
my suspicion is probably correct, then... no free BT adaptor mate
I think you'll have to eat you hat when JimmyJam's car arrives. I'll also be speaking to the stealer this week when my car arrives (unfortunately no bluetooth for me as I got the roadster) and I'll ask him too.

Tim,
I get a lot of our office stuff from these guys: (they are in the same office complex as myself)
They do some basic systems that will be fine for most needs, unless its heavy graphic work or game playing.
They built me a pentium 3.2 server, with 2GB of DDR, and 4 200GB serial ATA drives for about £600+ VAT.
You can also pick and choose what bits you want or what you dont.
Very friendly folk, and they have a walk in shop at the office if you want to collect/visit.
The expensive bit will be the TFT screen though. They start at around £100+ on their own.
I can vouch for AO Computers. I've been using them for 5-6 years now. We have bought around 500-600 computers from then during that time and am about to order another 168 this week.
I'll let Oliver (the O in AO) know that he's had a mention on here and see if he can do anything for you. Small world after all......

right...... don't wanna sound like I want to always be right, BUT phone integration is one thing (ie all UK zeds have phone INTEGRATION, page 20 of my 04 brochure has got a nice phone sitting on the cradle WHICH U HAD TO BUY SEPARATELY) and the actual cradle is another.
and roadsters have never had any handsfree kit anyway
anyone with an 06 coupe' just bought, that can confirm??????????????
my money is still on bluetooth cradle to be bought separately
PPS in that brochure there's still Kuro as black, when it's replaced by the ebisu, metallic black too... they can't even do their own brochure right
The scan that I took from the 350z Brochure is definately for the 2006 models. The black is Ebisu Black and not Kuro. The brochure says it comes with Bluetooth integration on the Coupe model.
hate to disappoint you mate, guess where I got this (bad) picture of the phone integration from? 04 brochure. what did you need to do to have your phone on hadsfree? buy a cradle. I still bet the BT adapter is an optional accessory also the fact that in your brochure the bose and nav are also accessories and they are listed together with the bt reinforces my theory.. it'd be great if it did have it, but doubt it
I agree that it may only be available as part of the GT pack as this has the upgraded Bose stereo but as far as I know if you've got this then you get the bluetooth. Anyway, I guess that we'll just have to wait and see what he gets, unless someone else out there has a 06 Coupe already?
