  1. Sorry just seen this. Yes it seems you do mate. At least you got your money for it. To be fair the garage owner who sold me mine was very good. He replaced all 4 tyres, refurbed all 4 alloys, new front pads and gave it a full service and got me a set of mats as he presumed they were in the boot.
  2. Thanks Sipar, will have a proper look at the weekend. No it's the standard head unit and sat nav Bradders.
  3. Tks for your reply, Hard to explain really, i just mean when I plug the cabke in there is no click and it wiggles around as if there is nothing behind the plastic cover. Only one option really, get it off and have a proper look. Appreciate the link though. May look into that once I have proved there is a connector. Dave
  4. Hi chaps, Sorry if this has been covered, but as I failed to do my research properly before purchasing a 370z and got a 2009 model without the abilty to stream music through the head unit I have to resort to the aux in socket. I have today purchased a 3.5mm male to male cable so I could attach my iphone 6 to one end and plug the other end in the aux in port. However, after opening the plastic cover it just appears to be a hole. Anyone else had this issue?? I have a 2009 Gt model. Tks in advance Dave
  5. Welcome and nice looking z. It will add plenty of smiles to your face this summer. ðŸ‘
  6. Some great pics, remember the green machine. Loved it
  7. Cheers chaps, all as polite as ever. Thats what makes this website stand out from the rest. Yes well remembered bb81, 19's from Cs. I can't wait to get the 370 on Sat, I am sure it will be ace.
  8. Cheers chaps, very good of you all to say. Will no doubt spk to most of you at some point. Now i am turning in after that long drive and open wallet surgery I am goosed. Rgds Dace
  9. 2 years of pain since I sold my Gm 350z to a forum member due to the birth of my son. A Crv replaced it and lasted a year, Dull. Replaced by an A6 allroad v6 2.5tdi followed, better but no Z, replaced by an S type Jag due to the very unfortunate death of my father but still I missed the Z. Have therefore just lobbed a deposit on a nice 370z Gt in Le Mans blue, black wheels with 42k on the clock. Pick it up in Saturday. So hello to everyone and any one who may recall my ugly mug. Rgds Dave
  10. Congrats and a big thanks to Shaun for such an easy sale. I am sorry to see it go but I am sure it is in good hands. I would just like to add that being a member of this site has made owning the Z a much better experience, than I could have ever hoped for. The mods do a brilliant job of keeping the site up and in brilliant order 24/7. The drives and meets are great fun and always so brilliantly organised. The members and mods are always on hand for any advice and help you may need and the traders also are a great bunch and the service is always spot on. Even on the sale I had advice and help re the post from MIkey and Beavis and Colin kindly sent a Pm to Shaun advising him to check out my thread off his own back. So once again I would like to thank Martinmac, Ebized,Beavis,CS and Mike along with many more for all there time and effort. It is much appreciated. Please feel free to pass this on to anyone I may have missed out. I will be back from time to time and hope to be back in something sporty maybe when little davetstan is old enough to go in the front. All the best folks Davetstan I see Z people
  11. 82000 miles seems a bit high to me for the price Shaun. Go for one at 65k instead. Much better :-)
  12. Tks Leighton, I have just replied. Dave
  13. Thanks mate, the wife already has one but there will be days when I have little stanners and his buggy and she will be at work in hers. Adding her to the insurance on mine was not an option as she knows I would be out inspecting it after every trip, so therefore refused to drive it. :-) Yep, i wouldnt let my missus near mine with a barge pole. And good point about when your looking after the kid & your missus is at work, i didnt think about that. Simple really. She leaves her car at home for you to drive and catches the bus to work . Isn't that what every caring wife should do? Thats a good point choptop,I may be wrong but I think buses charge money, surely walking is better for her in the long run.
  14. Thanks mate, the wife already has one but there will be days when I have little stanners and his buggy and she will be at work in hers. Adding her to the insurance on mine was not an option as she knows I would be out inspecting it after every trip, so therefore refused to drive it. :-)
  15. Ha ha that's true Mike. He uses more Bold all in one that petrol. Thanks for finding the old thread Cs. As you can see the roof and the front grill were then sprayed to match them after they were fitted. Dave
  16. Ha ha brilliant, Dave said his has only done 18k since day 1. Can you beat that Mikey?
  17. Thanks Mike, hopefully when I have done my time in a Honda Crv for a few years I can return to fun. With a bit of luck at the time you or Beavis are selling up :-)
  18. Beavis, you are a gentleman as always. Thanks a lot. Cs, they deserve nothing less than the best treatment, a bit like the service I received when buying from you. Tks for the baby congrats. I will defo be getting another one day, not sure when but one day. Rgds Dave
  19. Hi chaps, Yes it has been a while. Hope you guys are both well. I have looked after those rota's you sold me Cs but for some reason my pic didn't load???? Beavis, if email you a file can you do the honours as a mod and lob me a few pics up old chap? Dave
  20. Folks, Due to the impending arrival of our first child my pride and joy is going to have to go. However hard I try I just can't seem to get a pram, the wife, a baby bag, golf clubs and my gym bag in the boot. It's a 2003 Auto/tiptronic Jdm that I have owned since July 2006. It has 65k on the clock and has just been serviced in Jan, with tax and Mot until June. It's in great condition as are most of the cars on here and has been looked after very well since I got it. It's a pretty standard car apart from the scorpion exhaust and 19" Rota gtr's from CS with Falkens all round. I also had the roof and middle part of the bumper sprayed to match the wheels. Baby is due in June so I thought I would see if any one is after one now or in the near future and get the ball rolling. I am looking for a fair price around £5500 and would like it to go to a fellow enthusiast if possible. Unsure on how to post multiple pics from my Ipad so I can email any more if required. Regards to some of the chaps i have not seen for a while, big Mike and his lovely wife, Beavis, Cs and many more Regards Dave
  21. Well I was going to book the week off to dismantle the entire car and rebuild it from the stereo up. Easiest way I reckon Flexib.
  22. What do you mean re divorced from the donor car? Is this some sort of security feature?
  23. Divorced Dave, do you mean like Adebayor from Avb?
  24. Hi folks, Does anybody know if you can swap the standard bose headunit around from a Uk car, to an import. I know it's the same unit made my Clarion but are the connectors and fittings the same? My imported Z's unit has been goosed for a while so looking to do a cheap swap. Tks in advance Dave
