  1. that's the one i saw too.

doesn't make sense a pre facelift model being younger than facelift models, such as this facelift 2006 06 plate, as opposed to the one you linked 2006 56 plate:

    http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/757125.htm

i'm not saying it's not genuine, but just seems very strange. i would have thought nissan/dealer would pre register it prior to facelift model, unless someone forgot or it was an old model left in showroom, containter, dock etc etc.

  2.

i've post a link of this car. just a note it's not a 296bhp model as advertised.

    i'm suprised it's on a 56 plate, as facelift i've seen on 06 plates i think

i would have thought if they had stock left over it would have been registered before the facelift.

    What is it then???

it has the pre facelift interior, i.e. no silver knobs on climate control

    and it's not a GT4 anniversary edition.

so it's the pre facelift lower bhp model

  3. if going by the book, i thought it should be every 9k miles or 12 months.

so first service should have been 9k etc.

but as for servicing, i would prefer one close to the book, but this one at least has one every 10k or 12 months etc.

  4. can someone confirm:

the pre facelift interior i.e. non silver gear shift surround

this engine was only on the gt4 models? or was it on late 2006?

otherwise, it was found in facelift with the silver gear shift surrond?

*excluding the new higher engine model with the bonnet buldge

  5. Was an absolute nail!! Didnt drink last night so i could get an early start, met Matt off of here (A to Z his name on here I think!), drove round to Ruislip, supposedly mint - NOT!! Must have had a smack up the arse at some point, badly painted rear bumper and it wasnt even fitted correctly after, and the passenger door and front passenger wing had been painted, loads of laquer specles and orange peel over the panels. Not happy!!

    Back to the drawing board!!

    Chris :(

any links to show which one or where about?

  6. the one i'm looking at is a azure blue 04 plate with 24k on the clock!

i've seen one advertised for about that

with the market, turn of the new year, new 370z etc. i can see many of these going to be around the £10k mark.

looking at a private sell, someone sold one similar at just sub £10k

this price will be alot better than trade, so people will either hang on to them, or more will try to sell privately and recoup as much above trade

but then again, there are people out there going to be paying like £16k for the same car. i can't believe bristol wessex garages has a 2003 at £16-17k!!!

  7. Oh dear,

It seems you Zed owners have been hit hard too. Over on the R32 forum its also the hot debate. VW have decided to shift the last 500 or so R32's for 17k !! Stupid when you think just 6 months ago they were 25-29k fully specced up.

Greta if your in the buyers market, Crap if you've recently bought. However just think your next car will probably be reduced by the same amount you've lost so it could work out ok.

which forum is this, 17k for the last batch of r32 mk5 is good

  8. prices do vary alot, as i posted my local nissan dealer has a 04 at like £16k area

but i've started to see some trade and private dip below £10k, even for uk gt spec with below average mileage

i know my TT is dropping in value too, but not as quick i think, so am holding out for now, unless i can find a decent place for a p/x / swap deal

  9. 2 years already? time certainly flies, ive had great fun in the celica, but it lacks the power or i would have kept it, its staying close though, my mate is buying it so ill still see it and work on it

    time has flown by.

i do miss the celica in it's own right. it was the longest car i had owned (4 years)

the tt does what the celica was missing, the lack of power, as now i'm running almost 270bhp and probably more lb/ft too ;-)

    good luck in the hunt

  10. can't believe my local dealer has the following at such high prices:

    Wessex Garages (Bristol) Nissan

    2004 54 Reg Nissan 350Z Coupe 2-Door 3499 cc 3.5 V6 GT (trade) £17k

and would be interesting to how they price:

    2008 08 Reg Nissan 350Z Coupe 2-Door 3499 cc 3.5 V6 GT (trade) £26k in the near future

Wessex prices are complete comedy. When I wanted to get rid of my Z roadster in July, they weren't interested in buying it at any price. The reason why?

They had 10 - yes: 10 - in stock across the group including one they had had for more than a YEAR :scare: It cannot make financial sense to do business like that! Drop the prices and get the metal moving!

    Glen

    i can't understand it either.

wessex garage has a lower price one but still like £12-13k i think from memory with about 80k miles

another one had one in, and priced it well and must have sold, as don't see it advertised. but it was a black and alezan 2003 with 8k miles at £12-13k not long ago.
