ok. Pulled some dashboard away, found the infared eye, floating behind. Now it works, Not too happy with the fitting though!

ok, i dont suppose anyone has tried a pc on the nav screen? ie is it too difficult to read? i was thinking if you could go thru the nav screen, and stick a touchscreen overlay on there (looks like theres enough room) then we'd be away! i have access to cnc machinary at work, so i will also look into machining something up (as i did for my mini) tom.

i plan to do a pc install, im gonna buy a converter to convert the double din slot into a normal headunit, and use that facia to mould my screen into. you guys should check out digital-car.co.uk tom.

the decals are already off! (it was reduced since then anyway) the mini is a beast 230bhp! im gonna miss it.. time for a change though.

just go straight to the battery, as if you were wiring an amp, and opus supplies are nice, thats what i use. tom.

hi guys, first post! now im in the market for a new car, the z is in my price range, i like the looks, and it all looks good on paper. the only thing thats holding me back is that i have a modded mini cooper S at the moment, which is rediculously fast for a mini and i want my next car to feel at least as fast as the mini. the mini 0-60 in probably a little over 6 seconds. i have driven a 3.2 TT, and it dosent feel nearly as excitin as the mini.. do you think ill have the same problem with a Z? mabe its just time to go for a test drive. oh and hows insurance with young (22) drivers? thanks, tom.
