fitted it myself with my poor 15 year old brother holding the torch until 10 pm as it took a lot longer than expected. All you would need in addition to "standard" tools would be the security tools which you can by from halfrauds. I wouldnt describe it as an easy job as it is v fiddly in some places but then again i did do it with very poor light. Definately worth doing though thats for sure!

after a long wait from the US finally got the kit fited and got to say I am super impressed! Looks brilliant under the point and I am so impressed with the sound it makes! definately not chavy but makes the car sound more like a V8 and brings out the engine tone completely. In addition you can really hear the intake suction which comes as a slight whistle and very similar to a turbo spooling up pics will follow

got a black z and thinking of putting some black "old style" plates on. Do you guys wreckon I will get pulled for this and if so is it a fixed penalty or points on license? Cheers

Ok so the part number is 69-7070TP but I am buying this from a seller based in the US. Even though the part number appears to be the same we are both not sure if this filter will fit my UK spec (2005) z. Does anyone know if there are any actual differences and will this fit straight on my car? Cheers

hi Guys was wondering if anyone has any sound clips for a z with just a K&N typhoon on or what their views are. Dont want it to be too loud (ie chavy) just looking for more of a sporty note from the z in addition to what it already sounds like In addition, are there any "abnormal" tools a may need to do the swap. Have heard I need a special screw to remove the security sensors Oh and it is for a 2005 UK spec Z if that makes any difference Cheers!

Right...As it stands I have using the Z as my excuse for having proposed earlier due to money etc... Anyways, the time has come to ask after 10 years of being going out since the age of 16 Taking her to the Maldives on Monday and plan do to it there.. Got dinner planned on the beach on the 14th. advice please as above guys... am after pros and cons really as my past experience of induction kits have not been too good admittedly it was on a saxo but no matter what i did the car always used to suffer when in slow moving traffic no matter how much i ried to shield the induction kit. last thing I want is any drop in performance really
