  1. Very nice i may have to do the same

Looks like your still using the factory rear speakers :surrender:

rear speakers? insanity! No i never have rears in my cars, if i go to a concert i face the stage, same with my car stereo systems :teeth:

  2. Only other issue is the space behind the seat isn't actually big enough to mount most half decent subs or anywhere near well enough sealed....

Its certainly a very tight squeeze but it is just about do-able... :teeth:

  3. Looking B)

Is anyone able to confirm the thread size on a UK car gearknob ?... failing that I'll have to pull my knob off tonight and measure it !

You should come down to the Wales meet weekend, then ermmm, errr (hesitates to say that he will pull it off and measure your knob for you! :scare: )

  4. looks great. make them out of titanium and will look even better

Yeah its a bit trickier to get hold of than aluminium but I might just try that!

btw If anyone does know for sure what type of screwthread is on a UK model gear stick let me know, my local nissan garage may object if i start trying to pull their knobs off!

  5. Nice work buddy. If you do copies of the Nismo shape, you will probably sell a few on here ;)

Well this was my first attempt so i was quite pleased it worked out fairly well, I've actually already had one request to make another! I need to double check the screw threads on the gear lever on a few zeds though as i've read before that its 12 mm but when i checked mine (jdm) it was a 10mm fine thread (forcing the purchase of a whole new set of taps and dies! :scare: )

This one is in aluminium which colour matches quite well with the Zed's interior, but i may try stainless steel next... B)

Next i need to decide whether to attempt cutting a logo into the top with the laser engraver we have at work! :teeth:

  6. The guide on here is brilliant. Thats it all stripped out. :yahoo:

Very tempted to finish it on my own but I think the sensible thing would be to wait until I have an expert on hand.

bah, plug it in, whats the worse that could happen? :help::help::help::teeth:

  7. Finally got the weather today to take some real photos with the new Finichis fitted, not sure i should really feel quite as strongly about a piece of polished metal as i do about these things, but they're GORGEOUS! :teeth::teeth:

    Thanks once again Andy!

  8. Looks great, thanks for all the hard work you guys put in. Just a note that the links at the top, discounts etc seem to link to a historical copy of the forum at 350z-uk.com/NEWforum/ which looks like its dating from February, i'm guessing a test version of the newlook?

  9. Well after putting up with my rapidly corroding Dare Hiros for too long i've started looking around for a replacement set of Wheels for the Z, anyone have experience of Finichi Firenze?

Is that stainless steel lip going to withstand the elements better than the polished rim of the Hiros?

Planning on going for the same size as my hiros a staggered 19" fit hopefully with Toyo T1R's (my current set of these tyres has lasted nearly 20,000 miles!)

Andy am i right in thinking you stock these wheels?
